Mumof4
Hey girls, have just posted some 1 week post op pics. Still have quite a bit of bruising and swelling. Using ice packs has been a life saver for me. Great with pain relief too, actually couldn't sleep last night unless I had one in my clevage lol I know its normal but still kinda freaks me out seeing the boobies healing differently. Looking forward to check up tomorrow for some extra reassurance.
Barely_There
Pics look great, bruising looks ouchie though! Glad to hear the ice packs are giving you some relief though. (also making me question if I will be able to work soon after my BA)
Mumof4
How much time are you taking off? Have to admit I get pretty tired after small amounts of activity. I went to the shops today to get a couple more bra/tops and I'm exhausted. My whole body is aching, don't think I could handle going back to work this early and my day is pretty active with 4 kids so I'm used to being on the go and this has knocked me around a bit. Mrs-D
Hi mumof4 I've also sent you a fr, hope you don't mind. I'm quite scared of the bruising myself and the recovery when I get home. I also have 4 kids to run around after. How are you feeling today? Mumof4
Hi nath80, am very happy with Dr Richardson's work so far. Still have a bit to go in the healing department so will be able to comment more on the end result then. How was your experience, are you happy with his work? Hi Mrs-D, swelling and bruising has gone down a fair bit. Most of my pain is sternum and muscle pain. The muscle pain has nearly stopped thankfully. For me the biggest thing is making sure I do things slowly, even walking, feel like a grandma lol. I'm still not sleeping comfortably and too much arm movement makes my boobies ache. All I can say is take it easy as possible and get the kids to help wherever they can with their own stuff and leave things that aren't necessary. aquabl00
hi mumof4 I'm also seeing Dr Richardson later this week, so am particularly interested in your case. Did he go under- or above the chest muscle with the implants? Sorry if this is a silly question, but what did he do around the nipple area? did he not fit the implants in through an incision at the crease? Mumof4
I had my implants under which explains longer healing times too. My implants were inserted through booby crease and as for the nipple area the Dr uses a nipple cutter to mark out sizing so they both match then outer area is taken away and its all sown up. Hope that helps. I actually looked on youtube at lift procedures and found it really interesting how they do it all. Will take a pic of boobs without the micropore tape when I change it on tues so you ladies can see what it looks like :-)
