Implants please explain :)

Recommended Posts

Hi ladies I am quite new to the whole learning experience of BA's

So far I have managed to learn there are two types of implants round and anatomical (aka teardrop/brazilians)

I am aware that round implants come in different profiles HP, moderate and low

I was wondering do anatomical implants also have these profile options too?

Is there anything else I should know about implants?

Thank you ladies :)

It can at be a bit confusing at the start!

So...

SHAPE

anotomical (tear drop)

Or

Round

They can be high, low or moderate profile

TEXTURE

Smooth

Or

Textured

Or

Polyurethane (furry brazillians)

FILLING

silicon

Or

Saline

Hope that helps!

Hi tango! It's very confusing when you first start researching, isn't it? I didn't realize there were so many decisions to be made when having BA!

Brazilians are just a hmmm... 'nick-name' I guess for the Silimed polyurethane covered implants. (cuz they are made in Brazil)

So you can get smooth, textured & the polyurethanes.

Yes, the anatomicals come in different profiles as well, I have high profile anatomicals...

This is a great place to learn pretty much everything you need to know about implants!

:)

Yes both round and tear drop can come in any texture :)

Textured is kind of textured in the implant hard to explain...

The pollyunrothane is actually furry to feel!

Maybe google some images might help explain the difference
