Hi Ladies,

Early morning Bangkok here. Only just managed to ask the nurses for my wifi details.

All went well and not feeling much pain. I was told I didn't bleed much and don't have to have drains because of this.

I had a reduction and 175cc mods in the left and a lollipop and 225cc on the right. Dr Poomee says I naturally had cleavage so he didn't want to make my breasts look like a "butt" by adding more. Funny man!

I'll probably end up with an anchor scar on my left breast, but that's to be expected.

I'm supposed to be resting up.

Cheers and best wishes to those yet to have their surgery.

I did ask Dr Poomee about stomach muscle repair and he was reluctant to do too much at once. I can understand why now as I'm my using my abs and legs muscles to move my body. Don't know how I could cope with my stomach being done at the same time as this!

So back to resting for me and hopefully pictures when I'm feeling up to it ?

3 days post op and going nuts. Still bandaged up wearing the band 24/7 and have to wait too Wednesday to see this car crash. Would really like to only look at them 6 month mark and realize everything is perfect and I chose the right size. Know the road ahead won't be that simple and I've got post surgery scars to try and reduce. Speaking of reduce. Dr took out 70g of breast tissue on my larger breast. Found the cysts my breast specialist and I have been watching for the last 2 years. He decided to take them out and send them to the lab. It was never his intention to remove tissue until he saw something, described them as a brown color. Lab came back with positive results, it's all very hazy from memory now, but he did say it was very microscopic and would have taken years to show up on a mammogram. I think he said the cell was Behind the cyst. He's asked me to see a cancer specialist on Wednesday before his consult so will wait to see what he says. I did have a mammogram last year and the cysts had not changed since the previous year. My breast Dr is biopsy happy, (decided not to get the cysts biopsied) and anti implants.... She'll love me even more now.

Have been reading up a bit so I can understand what the Dr may have to say. I feel a bit irresponsible and that I short changed Dr Poomee. that I got implants if this turns out to be something we have to watch closely. I feel guilty for not getting another mammogram and a biopsy before this op. The cysts were never irregular enough in shape or growing in size or changing in density of color on the mammogram to warrant concern. I'm over thinking this because the cell found was from tissue behind the cyst not the cyst itself. The more days post op, the less Details I remember from the conversation Dr Poomee had with me.

But I did have a very vivid dream that my boobs blew up. I'm gonna be really bummed if I have to give these implants back before I've gotten to know what perky, full breasts are again :(

Certainly puts a crystal clear perspective on life!

Wow that's pretty lucky that he decided to take the cysts out and send for testing, he is obviously very vigilant. If you had never gone for surgery you may have found they changed later down the track. Better to be out and have had them tested. All the best for your consult. Hopefully everything is fine. Crossing fingers for you

Oh Judgementnot, you poor thing, what a termoil you are going through :( I really hope that it all can be dealt with without any further surgery, particularly since it was such a small amount. When are you seeing the cancer specialist? Sounds like you've caught it very early, which may mean having your BA/lift was a blessing in disguise. Fingers crossed all will pan out well for you, will be thinking of you over the coming weeks. I'm sure you are in good hands at Bumrungrad.

take care

chacha
