Do I require a BL?

Hi, I am a 25 year old, single mum. After breastfeeding my son for 13 months and losing 30kg. This is what I'm left with. I'm asking if I need a lift? Or can get away with just having an BA. Thank you :)

    Dear Zoe_Jane16,

Upon assessment of your attached photos, I would advise undergoing a bilateral lollipop mastopexy and augmentation using anatomical/teardrop implants, in a sub-muscular pocket.

Undergoing a breast lift will allow for the repositioning of the nipple areola complex and lift your natural breast tissue, achieving an aesthetically pleasing result.

For further advice on your options, please feel free to contact my clinic and one of my consultants can answer all of your questions. Alternatively, I do offer online, and in-person consultations for all breast procedures.

    Kind Regards,
    Dr Tavakoli

Thanks for your  questions and photographs.  Your breasts are very typical after breast feeding and weight loss. You would likely be very unhappy with the results of breast augmentation alone.  Breast augmentation simply adds volume to your breasts.  You would benefit from a breast lift to lift your breasts back up your chest wall into a more rejuvenated position.  Breast implants can then be added to help restore lost volume and create a lovely natural rejuvenated result.  I would recommend a short vertical (lollipop) pattern lift with subglandular placed tear drop implants to give the best natural results. Arrange a consultation with a fully qualified plastic surgeon experienced in this delicate surgery to discuss your options.  Dr Robert Drielsma
