Breast lift and anesthesia

Do you need general aesthetic for a breast lift? I have a fear of general anesthetic. And hoping there are procedures that can be done with local anaesthetic

    Hi Jasmin
There is no way to safely perform a breast lift without general anaesthetic. The near misses that occurred at the cosmetic institute were due to doctors trying to do procedures under local anaesthetic and sedation that required doses of drugs higher than the safe limits. General anaesthesia is a much safer option for your procedure.
Choosing a Specialist Plastic Surgeon with a good reputation and a regular anaesthetist is your way to ensure that your procedure goes as smoothly as possible.
    Good Luck

The only safe and effective way to perform breast lift is under a general anaesthetic with a fully qualified plastic surgeon.
