Patient review
I went through The Breast Institute in Brisbane. Had initial consultation with Dr Ali Hussain but surgeon changed to Phil Richardson after Dr Hussain left that practice. So I met Dr Richardson the afternoon before surgery for a meet and greet, check that the plan would stay the same with the change in surgeon and for him to answer any questions which I did have but had forgotten the instant I went in there. Confirmed 360cc round textured, unders.
Left feeling completely confident and ready for next morning. I was pretty stoked to be having Dr Richardson after hearing so many positive reviews about his work. He has a very impressive and confident manner and I easily trusted his expertise.
Was first up for surgery and admitted at 7am. Surgery was at the Gaythorne Day Surgery and all the staff there were amazing. So pleasant.
Dr Richardson came in and checked all the forms, drew on me and took photos. Reassured me again it would all be fine. Then the anaethestist did his thing.
Woke up fine but in a little pain. Saw Dr Richardson briefly in recovery who said all went fine and they would call the next day re post op appointment. Had his number to call with any issues.
Called him later that night as I had a nose bleed which freaked me out as I don't get nose bleeds. He reassured me just a coincidence and was really good about me contacting him.
It's a bit early to comment on results as typically looking a little werid at the moment. If I can I will add photos to this review later when they have healed a bit but so far recovery fine and I couldn't be happier with Dr Richardson and the support staff at TBI.
Susie in particular there was excellent to deal with and so patient with my freaking about sizers etc. went in a few times to try on and she has always been great. Never made me feel like I was being a pain which I'm sure I was.
