After having two children and breastfeeding for a total of 4 years my breasts were nearly non-existent and very deflated. Every time I looked in the mirror I was disappointed in the look of my breasts and I really wanted to gain my confidence back and to be happy with a more proportionate figure.
One day I decided I was going to do something about the problem I had with my breasts and I researched plastic surgeons in the Coffs Harbour Area. I believe first impressions do last and from the moment I started researching Dr Ellis Choy and his team I felt comfortable and at ease. From the photos on the internet Dr Choy look kind and caring. His qualifications and experience really impressed me and made me feel at ease.
I rang Zilver Lining and spoke with Janie and Siobhan who were so helpful and kind in their approach to a very nervous patient. After seeing Dr Choy and decided to go ahead with the surgery and after many phone calls to Siobhan over a few nervous weeks, the surgery day arrived. I felt surprisingly calm the morning of the surgery. I arrived at the day hospital in Sydney and all the staff made me feel very calm. Dr Choy came in and did his markings and told some jokes which took away any nerves I had.
Before I knew it I was waking up in the recovery room and I was out of the hospital in under 4 hours. I was able to walk back to the hotel that we were staying in and felt really good and felt minimal pain.
Six weeks on and I am feeling really happy and healthy and I am feeling like I never had an operation.
I love my new breasts and they make me feel so much more confident. I fill out my clothes again and I have been able to buy a whole new wardrobe of bras which I haven’t done since before I had children. It’s not only me that loves them but my husband does too. I have the occasional comment from my children that my boobies have grown back.
Breast augmentation was not something I would have considered before however in my circumstance I knew it was the right thing to do. I was worried my family would not approve however they were very understanding and once I had explained what they looked like they were really happy for me to have the procedure as long as it would make me happy. Life is too short not to be happy.
I cannot thank Dr Ellis Choy enough. He has made this whole process so easy and I have already recommended him to my family members. He is an amazing surgeon who has a fantastic reputation. I am just another one of his many happy patients.
