Hi just wanted opinions on if this would be classified as a standard BA, or what would be needed to help make me feel like my breasts are closer to an identical size.
Hi Cuddybear. Thank you for your post and question regarding breast symmetrising surgery. It's difficult to see the actual degree of size difference between your breasts from just the frontal photograph. An oblique and lateral shot would give a better indication of the differences in shape and size. If we assume that you would like to maintain or increase the volume of your breasts, then the volume difference can certainly be corrected through the use of different volume implants. That is, placing implants of different volumes in each breast to make them more identical in size. Asymmetrical breasts will not be 100% perfect with corrective surgery, and most women will have some minor degree of asymmetry if we observe closely; however, they can certainly be improved to a great extent. All the very best. Dr Ray Goh
Hi there, Thank you for your question and photo. Yes. I agree that you do have a mild degree of breast asymmetry with slightly less volume on your left side with slightly lower nipple position. However it's difficult to judge based on photo alone without an in person consultation. Assuming the size discrepancy is real, different sized implants may help improve the size asymmetry. It'll be best to discuss your concerns with your surgeon during the consultation. Hope that helps. Best wishes Ellis Choy
Hi, All breast have a degree of asymmetry and your breast fall within the range of normal. That being said, we can often improve the symmetry with breast augmentation by using implants of different sizes. This might mean an implant that might be about 50-75cc larger on the left side make them closer in size. This could all be achieved with a simple or 'classic' breast augmentation. Kindest regards, Alex
