The decision to undergo breast augmentation is a personal one. Whatever your reasons are, if you want to keep your surgery decision a secret, you are not alone.
Fear not, for we have pulled the best tips and tricks from the women before you to help you keep your new boobs under wraps.

1. Start padding those bras sister!
Lets face it, if your looking to inflate those puppies then your probably already accustomed to our friend the good ol’ padded bra. We suggest you slowly start increasing the padding in your bras until your at your desired cup size now. Your friends and family will grow accustomed to your expanding cup size and be none the wiser.

2. Distraction is key
Applicable to all kinds of cosmetic surgery procedures, distraction is a fantastic tool for throwing people off the radar. New hair colour, hair cut or shade of lipstick are all perfect distraction methods. Remember, the more radical the better!

3. Conceal the evidence

Scarves, high neck jumpers and loose fitting tops will be essential in hiding the high looking square breasts your likely to be sporting for a few weeks after surgery. With that in mind it makes sense to plan your surgery for the cooler months.

4. Excuses excuses excuses
So we don’t advocate lying but it cant hurt to plant some seeds before your surgery to explain away your limited ability to perform usual tasks. An injured shoulder, bout of gastro or a sore neck should do the trick.

5. Pick a modest size implant
The bigger the size increase, the more obvious the change will be. Choosing a smaller implant in the right pocket will enable you to get the most natural looking results.
Visible implant edges, rippling and upper pole fullness are all tell tale signs of breast enhancement so minimising these risks is essential. This is where communication and pre planning with your surgeon is vital. Make sure they are on the same page as you are.

If all else fails, tell them you benched them at the gym 🙂
