  1. Hi ladies, I'm now almost 6 months post op (have some new photos in my album) and I am still getting the occasional pain which I didn't expect this far on. I've had stabbing pain in my incision as well as a feeling of bruising to the side of my breast under my arm. Is this normal?
  2. Hey I don't know much about brazilians but my surgeon would only let me have then if I signed a waiver as he doesn't like to use them as he believes they aren't safe. The opinions of them vary hugely, but why go for something that could be so bad when there are other options available?

    Incisions

Hey, congrats on your surgery just be cautious if your incisions are itchy this early on and watch for signs of infection. I'm sure you're fine but I think early on in the healing process itching can be a sign of infection as appose to healing, I'm no doctor though!
  5. Went to my 6 week post op appointment. Surgeon said that everything looks good and is healing well. I'm so excited that I can now return back to gym and wear underwires/ no bras!!!! I was told no chest exercises until 3 months, but my arms are getting really flabby so I want to start boxing. Would this be included in chest exercises? I know it's arms but would still require work from chest muscles as well xx
  6. Definitely get a onesie! I bought one for last winter and it was the best decision I've ever made (apart from to get my boobs done )
  7. I'm a brissie girl too but had no idea about an fb page! Would love to be added
  8. Thanks for your replies guys is it possible to get an infection once your incisions are fully healed?- mine have been healed over now for about 3 weeks. I think that's the same for me milly, to reduce scarring
  9. I was told to keep it on until my 6 week post op appointment which is on Tuesday, only changing once a week after a shower. Has anyone else been told to do this? Yess, mine is the same with tightness when lifting my arms!
  10. Hey ladies I am now 6 weeks post op and the past few days my incision site has been throbbing/aching and has been itchy as well. I took the tape off and I do have some redness and raising which appears to be the shape of the tape. I'm wondering if this could be a reaction to the tape or something else? The aching doesn't feel as though its on the surface. Sorry ladies, the sensation is so hard to describe, when I say aching.. It's like a pain ache combined with a severe deep itchiness that's throbbing on and off.
  11. Definitely buy a few, the more the better! I only have two so I have to do washing very regularly just to have a clean bra. Sleeping in it has been fine, I hardly even notice it these days
  12. I cant believe that, what a coincidence! And that's fine, it's good to have someone to talk to that's been through it and you can relate to (even more so now haha)
  13. Congrats!! If you're tossing up between the two sizes have a look at my before and afters. My surgeon recommended 350s but I chose to go with 375s and I'm so glad I did, even though everyone stresses there's not much size difference I feel that if I had of gone 350 I would have been disappointed. It's a personal choice and you have to do what's right for you, originally I did have some back pain when standing for long periods of time (I've never had a good back... Always high neck tension etc. ) but that has gone away completely now as I adjust to my new assets
  14. I was advised to wear my post op bras 24/7 until the 6 week post op appointment, I'm in week 5 and have followed his instructions completely (even if it meant ruining the look of a few dresses ) it's not all that bad! The bra I was given is a size A/B and my boobs are at least a D but it felt good for the first week, like it was holding my boobs onto my body and without it they'd just fall out and then it got irritating when my boobs felt like mine and they restricted them but you get used to that, only a week left now so I don't intend to stop
  15. I'm 19, halfway through my law degree, and have two jobs, one as a waitress the other a barista
