Jennys got a reaction from Droopy_Lou in Scars?
I had an anchor lift 19 mths ago and loving it still. Scars are no worries, mine are not real visible and they are very neat and clean. Even if you do sunbath I would not stress but I don't recommend you expose the scars to too much sun as I have herd it can darken them but that may depend or the pigment in the skin already.

Phuket dental signature is great, it's right near Junceylon shopping centre. Also seas smiles l think it is called. I had been to one and a friend has been to another, very clean and professional. The dentists understand and speak English well.

Jennys got a reaction from Sebcat in Jennys Tummy Tuck and Breast Lift with Reduction story
Well the week leading up to the big day was so busy that I really had no time to think about it. I even had to work on the Sunday night before the op on Monday. I can’t say I was excited or nervous just felt at peace.
Up at 5.30 am to have breaky before 6 as instructed, I thought about sleeping thru and skipping breakfast but decided I would need it or I’d be too hungry. Then me and Hubby went for a 1.5 hr walk as I knew I would not get to do any exercise for the next 6 weeks. After this I came home and did a load of washing and cleaned out the plastics cupboard (it was on the ‘to do’ list) then I packed my bag and we went to the bank on the way to the hospital.
Arrived at 11.45 and paid the hospital bill and just sat waiting for a while. Finally a nurse came to get us and took us to the room. She did the usual checks on the medical forms and when she said “your having a breast reduction”?but nothing about a lift I got a bit freaked out, (I imagined smaller boobs but still saggy) but that turned out to be nothing as you can’t do a reduction without a lift. I was instructed to change into a sexy hospital gown and they gave me a fluffy dressing gown too. Oh there was even a welcome pack from the hospital containing a face washer, hand sanitiser, lip balm, toothpaste and toothbrush, I nice touch I thought. The nurse then put some tight stockings on me and said to wait there and relax.
The Anaesthetist assistant came in and spoke with me and checked details again, put some booties and a cap on me. After I said bye to hubby we went thru to the pre op area where I then met the anaesthetist who asked about previous experiences with anaesthetic, then put a cannula in my arm, he was skilled at this as I only felt a sting and I have had some very painful ones done. We chatted a bit about the difference between unconscious and being in a coma and other general chit chat and they but some monitors on my forehead to measure the level of consciousness. He then went away and the DR came. He took some nude shots and then proceeded to draw all over me.
It was very interesting to watch how they measured up for the BL, first he put some lines under where he would cut, then in order to replace the areola in the right place he put his thumb in the crease under the breast and his finger on top in line with his thumb, he drew a line which was to be the new top of the areole or nipple. It must have been raised about 5cm I reckon. He then got a wire circle thing and drew a circle the same size as my areola at that spot. He then drew wide lines from this down to the crease; this marked the flesh and skin he was going to take out from under the boob. He then measured distance from collar bone to nipples and distance between existing nipples so they could be placed in the same spots. Very thorough I thought.
He then drew on my tummy and pointed out that my BB was left of the mid line of the body. This is due to a slight scoliosis of the spine, and lots of people have it.
I was then wheeled into the theatre which didn’t look like a theatre at all. It had massive big windows overlooking the lake. There were no instruments anywhere to be seen, in fact if it hadn’t been for the lights I would not have realised where I was. I remember saying to the Drs they better be watching me and not admiring the view. I looked at the time and it was 1.25pm the anaesthetist said he was going to give me something to relax me, I said a few funny things while the drug kicked in and that was the last thing I remember till I woke up in recovery and looked for the time it was 5.20pm.
Back in my room I had a snooze while hubby waited for me to wake up. When I came too properly I had the dinner they had ordered earlier in the day and a cup of tea and just waited and felt uncomfortable but not really in any pain. Hubby bought me some of those lilies with the divine scent and everyone in the hospital could smell em.
By 7 pm the nurses said time to get up and go to the toilet. Now that was scary, getting out of bed when I’d only been stitched up a couple of hours earlier. However they know what to do and they guided me well although when they lowered the foot section of the bed I could feel the pull. I was rolled on my side and helped to sit up, once the feet were on the floor I was able to get up with help and walk to the loo. All this was a rather useless waste of time as I did not need to go anyway. The nurses said I had to pee within 6 hours of coming out of surgery so they put me back to bed and said we would try again at 12 midnight. Getting back into bed was a somewhat more painful effort; I couldn’t lift my feet so the nurse helped lift them and I flopped back on the bed and nearly went thru the roof with the pull and pain in the tummy muscle. Once I settled I told them if they want me to wee they better get me some cups of tea. To pass the time I chatted to the lovely lady in the bed next to me till midnight. (she had a BA with the same DR that day) and texted my friends. At one stage I felt my boobs and they weren’t there??, then I realised they weren’t as far down as my waist any more. Midnight arrives and 4 cups of tea, 1 litre of water and a drip in my arm latter and we toddle of the loo again, but still with no success. This created a bit of a tiz for them and they started talking about catheters. I suggested that I was close but just not full enough to overflow the dam, so back to bed and had to pee by 3 or else.
Well sleep was nowhere to be found so I just laid there fully conscious of all the sounds around me resting till 3am not to mention that they kept coming in a doing obs ever hour it seemed. Back we trudge for a wee walk, this time with success. Having not slept so far, I asked the nurse as I got back into bed “do I have to wake early or anything” and she said no. I finally fall asleep and next thing you know it’s 5:30 am and there bringing the breaky in for the lady next to me. Seriously, no sleep to be had that night.
Dr came to see me that morning and told me he had been able to achieve a great result. He had removed 1.1 kg from my Tummy and 150 g and 175 g from my left and right breasts respectively. He was able to cut away the skin from just above my pubic bone to just above my BB so I don’t have a little vertical scar where they sometimes have to repair the old BB hole. Dr said my muscles were in good shape due to the work I have done on them this year with gym.
I have had no pain so to speak off except if I over stretch my tummy. I have only used Panadol for relief and that because the Dr said to take it. I have only got a little bit of bruising and I’m not really swollen I don’t think. I do believe the Dr was very gentle in his operating methods hence this outcome. I was also very fit and healthy as well which helps.
I have not been able to shower all week just have birdbaths. I have just been unwrapped this morning and cannot believe the difference it has made. Just had my first shower and feel like I could take on the world.
I would be happy to give anyone seeking TT or BL any more information just let me know. I would most definitely recommend Dr Greg McDermant to anyone looking for a good surgeon.

Dear friends,
I have just been in and made my photos available for friends to see.
I have also just added the last four photos I took at 9 months PO.
I remember when I was researching I couldn't find any photos that were that far after the op and i really wanted to see some older scars.
I am very happy with the long term results, very happy with how I have healed and very happy to report I have not gained weight either.
I am still trying to loose more but I must admit that my diet while healthy is including some of the naughties that stop me form loosing any more.
For those of you still researching, I encourage you to really do you homework as a good DR makes a lot of difference. I highly recommend the journey as it is worth every penny as well as the discomfort I experienced. good luck to all.
