  1. This month i'll be having a septorhinoplasty with Mr Andrew Greensmith. It's the third surgery on my nose - I was unhappy with the last surgery about 11 years ago with Dr Robert Reed, so I went back, only to find he'd retired. He was replaced with an ENT who said he wouldn't touch my nose, too much scar tissue. I thought it was all over for my nose, and i'd just have to accept it. It wasn't easy as my nose looks really out of shape. Then a couple of months ago, something re-triggered a search for the best revision rhinoplasty surgeon I could find. After reading stories about co
  2. Hello, I have a septal perforation due to previous surgery. It is increasing in size. Which surgeons are recommended for correcting this? Obviously I am looking for specialist in revision rhinoplasty/septoplasty and ENT skilled. Anywhere in Australia is fine.
  3. Hi everyone, I have been consulting with a couple of surgeons to decide who I want to have perform my revision rhinoplasty surgery. I have met with Dr Andrew Greensmith and Dr Sophie Ricketts. Both have excellent reviews, and I know Dr Greensmith has more years of experience, but I am leaning towards Dr Sophie Ricketts as she seemed to be on the same page with me about what the issues are and what needs to happen to fix them. The reviews I have read have been great, however there aren’t many. I would really love to hear from anyone who has had surgery with her. Thanks in
  4. I am currently looking into who I should book a consult with for revision rhinoplasty. Dr Sinahad (Chatswood), I've seen brilliant primary rehino results but he doesn't do revisions. Dr Nettle has good reviews but I cannot get a consult until Mar 15 and this is because he is in demand, and has other business interests so isn't there all the time. It concerns me that cosmetic/plastic surgery isn't his primary and sole interest for the reason being that he may not give it his full attention. Dr Pincock I have seen good reviews and I like that he is an ENT specialist and has training i
  5. Hi who is the best surgeon for a revision revision rhinoplasty? I read dr warwick nettle is good. Anyone had revision with him or another surgeon? any input/feedback/pics would be really helpful. thX
  6. Has anyone from Australia underwent revision rhinoplasty in USA ? If so can you please share your experience
  7. Hi all just wondering if anyone can offer some advice... I have had two previous rhinoplasty operations the first was a closed with hump removal only which left me with a scooped out bridge and open roof deformity.. I went to another surgeon dr g******* and he was supposed to fix these issues however he left me with more problems and did not fix the open roof, this was an open rhinoplasty with rib and ear cartilage! I am now going to have to have a third op... I just want to know if anyone else has had a good outcome after 2 previous operations? I'm considering seeing Dr. Nettle in Bond
  8. Hello everyone. As part of my prep for my upcoming rhinoplasty (revision) and chin augmentation I've found one of the most helpful things is so read blogs written by others who have gone through the experience. They can be a bit hard to find so I've started one myself, if you're interested its located here: http://revisionrhinoandchin.blogspot.ae/ I welcome any comments or feedback
  9. Hi All I just wanted to make this post to help anyone in the Sydney/NSW area considering having revision or primary rhinoplasty. After waiting my whole life to have a nose job, I was horrified to come out of surgery with a ski-slope bridge and a severely upturned tip - defiantly not the look I was going for! As soon as I saw the initial results I started saving to have a revision done by another surgeon. After a year and a half of consults and consideration I finally decided to go with Dr George Marcells for my revision rhinoplasty. I am currently 2 years post op and I cannot speak hig
  10. Hi everyone, Long story short - I have had two rhinoplasties already, in Thailand, and I am unsatisfied with the result. I want to get a 3rd and FINAL revision done. I am thinking of having it with Dr Chan in Perth. I had my ears pinned by him before and he did a great job, and was wondering if anyone here had rhinoplasties by him and how much it cost? Has anyone had 2+ more rhinoplasties? I know and understand its not desirable - believe me I wish the first one had worked out but it didn't! Any comments, advice or feedback is appreciated!
  11. Hey everyone, I had a rhinoplasty operation exactly a year ago and now it has healed it is crooked:( my nose front on appears to veer to the left and when looking from below my septum also seems to head to the left. I was told my snoring would stop but it is now much much worse..and the inside of my nostrils are lumpy, with what seems to be like bits of flesh/cartilage. I want to get it fixed so my nose and septum are straight. It was never crooked before surgery. I can't afford to pay for another one though..will my surgeon fix this? any advice on recomended surgeons would be great.
