2nd Annual MyFaceMyBody Awards – Australasia – A night of surprises and surprise winners
Cosmetic Journey were lucky enough to return to Sydney for the 2nd Australasia Aesthetic Awards hosted by Stephen Handisides and MyFaceMyBody.
Oh what a night – we love any excuse to get glammed up and the awards were no exception. Black tie was the dress code and the gowns and tux’s did not disappoint.
The number of entries has grown significantly from last year providing much more competition in each category and of such a high calibre.
The winners all celebrated in their unique way. From fist pumping and outright jubilation to #gangsta style mass walk outs. Here’s some of the highlights and controversies of the night:
Highlights of the night:
Dr Anh Nguyen stealing the show in her amazing gown but also for taking out Best Aesthetic Practice WA and OVERALL Best Aesthetic Practice in Australasia. Well done Dr Anh and her amazing team, they looked sensational.
Dr Kourosh Tavakoli and his team coming as James Bond and stealing the show winning Best Plastic Surgery Team, taking the the winning trophy in a way that only Dr Tavakoli could pull off.
Academy Face and Body taking out the national award for Best Customer Experience and highly commended for Best Aesthetic Practice in WA/NT/SA
Dr Michael Miroshnik winning Best Plastic Surgery Practice for the second year running and presented by yours truly 🙂
Controversies:
Dr Mooney taking out the title of Best Aesthetic Practice in NSW against the favourite Silkwood and internationally recognised plastic surgeon, Dr Warrick Nettle – Well done Dr Mooney
World wide sensation coolscupting not winning best body reshaping procedure, we thought everyone loved coolsculpting, even the Kardashians.
Well done to all of the finalists and of course the winners!
Such a fun night, great entertainment, good company and some sensational companies, products and industry individuals who were recognised for their contributions.
