Breast Implant Revision

My journey with Coco Ruby began in 2014. I had my breast augmentation performed by Dr Rubenstein. My experience with Craig and all the staff at Coco Ruby has been nothing but exceptional. I had a replacement done last December as the result of a rupture of one of my implants and I was so looked after from start to finish. The care still continues and has continued since my first appointment/consultation with Craig. I cannot recommend Craig and his team more for their level of care, quality and professionalism.

I have had both Rhinoplasty and Breast Implant revision with Dr Andrew Greensmith and I am so so so happy with the results! His staff Lee and Bibiana, his nurses and himself make a fantastic team together- they have great communication and are extremely helpful and informative. From my first consult up until months after surgery I have felt very cared for, no question or request is too hard for the team and they are constantly insuring that I am happy! Mr Greensmith took the time I needed to go through my options for both surgeries, he ensured I understood everything and never made me feel rushed. For my rhinoplasty he even showed me a digital representation on how it would look using a digital 3D photography computer system (comparing them now after the surgery it was actually very accurate)! On the lead up to the surgeries (these were done a few months apart) all my questions were answered and I was very excited and confident that I was in the best hands possible! Lee and Bibiana also sent me information packs and gave me friendly calls before and after my surgery. Right before and after the surgeries Mr Greensmith came to see me to ensure I was feeling relaxed and happy (it is very assuring to know how much he cares for his patients)! At the hospital (I went to The Avenue Melbourne) the rooms were new and luxurious, and the staff, nurses and doctors there were all so kind- it was very nice to hear so many of them speak so highly of Dr Greensmith even when he wasn't around to hear them. After my surgeries my follow up appointments (in person and sometimes on the phone) were wonderful- the staff and Mr Greensmith continued to be so helpful and caring towards me. Overall my recoveries went very well, with my nose I had almost no bruising (just some normal swelling which went down itself pretty fast) and with my breasts I was walking around like nothing had happened the day after! (I had some slight and normal tingling of the nerves but I got some great advise which was to gently tap them to stop the sensation). It has now been 4 months since my breast revision and I have gone from a huge 12E (375cc) to a perfect perky C/D (180cc) and I feel so much happier with my body proportions. With my nose I am so much happier with a smaller size, I am no longer afraid of profile photos and feel so confident within myself. Dr Andrew Greensmith is a very joyful, talented surgeon who cares SO MUCH for his patients and is so skilled in what he does. He has a vibrant personality (which is very comforting in hospital) and an amazing reputation for his skill in plastic surgery. I highly recommend anyone interested in plastic surgery to see Dr Andrew Greensmith as I am sure you will be as happy as me!

I had a breast augmentation done by another Melbourne surgeon when I was 19 and I had absolutely hated my chest ever since. Along with the implants being much too big and fake looking, the surgeon had also made my left breast pocket too lateral and too low which made the implant fall into my armpit laying down, as well has having gross nipple asymmetry. I went back to this same surgeon 4 years later to be told it was an exaggeration of my pre-existing anatomy. I went elsewhere for a second opinion, who sided with my belief that the left implant was definitely lower than the right. However, he did not feel surgery was necessary. After 9 years of being incredibly unhappy with my body, my friend referred me to see Mr. Rubinstein, who has literally changed my life. Craig seconded that the implant had “bottomed out” on the left side, and confirmed that the implants were much too large for my body, as well as being the wrong type of implant for a natural look. I originally had 350cc high profile saline implants from the first surgeon. Craig and I discussed that 265cc moderate profile Motiva silicone implants would be best for me… and can I tell you, Craig did such an amazing job! I have such a natural looking result. Being a theatre nurse myself, I know how hard it is to find a surgeon with a lovely bedside manner as well as being a fantastic surgeon. Craig is both of those things. I highly highly highly recommend going to see him.

Needing revision breast surgery after having implants for 10 years I was really not looking forward to the surgery. My mother had been to Dr Callan for surgery before and recommended that I meet him. From the first visit I was confident that Dr Callan new exactly what needed to be done and I had no concerns about the surgery after meeting with Dr Callan. I felt Dr Callan was very diligent in his consultations right up until and on the day of surgery reviewing procedure and making sure I was comfortable with everything. After surgery my left breast had to be pinned quite high and it was a little concerning when I first saw the results. After Dr Callan explained why and reassured me that the left breast will drop within weeks and be symmetrical with my right breast by 6 months. I felt confident that I could trust Dr Callan and this is excatly what happened. Dr Callan and his staff are amazing, highly recommend.

I decided to undergo breast implant revision surgery with Dr Ellis Choy in Sydney after less than optimal results on my first b.a (by another surgeon) in June last year (2017). I was rather nervous, as I had anxiously waited for nearly a year for my implants to drop and relax and get less pointed and weird looking, but they weren’t going anywhere; I knew there was not much I could do except hope against hope that Dr Ellis Choy, a plastic surgeon I had been researching from Sydney NSW and who did excellent revisions, in my opinion, would be the one to fix the issues with my current breast implants (by another surgeon) which were :- malposition, asymmetry, left implant rotation and wide gap. I also thought the 360ml textured teardrop silicone implants were too small for my frame and my breasts drooped unattractively; no -I certainly wasn’t pleased with the first augmentation, and, due to maybe too much researching ever since, I had little expectation of the remarkable transformation that followed! After eventually deciding on a full remove & replace with larger (550ml, smooth, round) implants, the discussions with Dr Choy at his office included making me a capsule from the removed capsule of the previous implant and tightening the pockets laterally. Needless to say, I was apprehensive but resigned when the day came, and I think I was asleep before I had the anaesthetic!( lol! snoring away!) The next day I awoke with drains protruding from my sides,I noticed immediately a much more pleasing symmetry and larger area below the nipple (very important!) a reduced gap and (gasp!!?) a CLEAVAGE, I knew I had made the right decision! I can now find myself saying that skilfully positioned implants of the correct type and shape, the long lasting endurance of a reinforced lower pole, together with tightening of the pocket and medially placed larger implants can avoid the scars of a lift, even at my age! I can’t believe how bouncy and soft and adorable they feel, and how much more pleasing my sillhouette is now and how improved I look in tops and jackets, it really is the best thing I have done for myself, and I can’t believe I didn’t get it done 25 years ago! I would like to thank Dr Ellis Choy (and his lovely ladies who run his office) for their professional courtesy during this process of what can only be called a complicated revision, and once again thankyou for no more scars! I truly doubted that I wouldn’t need a lift, but, there you go - no lift!! Aren’t they just gorgeous -me and the girls are SO happy together! In short - thankyou very much I absolutely recommend Dr Ellis Choy who goes above and beyond the call of duty, my expectations exceeded!! xx P S - NO LIFT!!!!

I had a very complex breast implant revision by Dr Choy for a long standing capsular contracture after a suboptimal breast augmentation done by another surgeon over 10 years ago. My breasts were hard like concrete and it gave me a lot of pain and various other cosmetic deformity. I also was unable to hug my family because of them, Dr Choy removed and replaced my implants with a total capsulectomy as well as a breast lift to improve the overall aesthetic result. I could not be happier with the whole experience and my breasts are now soft and natural, high and perky, and I’m feeling a whole better with myself. I can't thank Dr Choy enough for all the amazing work he has done.

I was a 54 year old lady when I originally had my first breast augmentation by a very well known plastic surgeon. I was told that teardrop shaped implants through the armpit incision was the best way to achieve a natural looking result. For 2 weeks after the surgery, I was in excruciating pain that I could barely walk and I was very distressed. As time went by it got worse and worse. The implants started up under my armpits and continued down into the breast tissue but they were not centred in the middle of the breast. Instead they were positioned to the outside leaving sagging breast tissue on the cleavage and underside of the breasts. They were positioned more towards my underarms which caused tension in my arms as the implants were continually pulling. I couldn’t exercise as the implants hardened and caused more pain. I couldn’t wear a bra as the breast shape didn’t fit any bra type and it would constantly pull on my tendons so I only wore sports bras day and night as I couldn’t be without one. I couldn't put my arms next to my body as the implant was there. I had trouble working and I became quite depressed over the whole decision. I couldn't even talk to anyone as I was disappointed with what I did to myself. Over the subsequent 14 months with my worsening problems, my husband and I agreed that we didn’t trust the original doctor, and decided to have a few more opinions. I saw a couple of doctors and discussed the issues and then one of them recommended Dr Ellis Choy. At my consultation, Dr Choy was very patient and took a lot of time with me, he didn't try to brush me off, he explained everything he had to do, in regards to my surgery. This operation was a lot more complicated as I was having the old implants removed, the pockets repaired, a breast lift and an internal bra made for the new implants to fit into, so a lot more than the original surgery. After the operation, I felt surprisingly not much pain, just the feeling of pressure on my chest. I have very little discomfort and boy I am so happy with the result and glad I chose Dr Choy from the beginning to the end! Well its over 2 months and I am feeling really good! I look in the mirror and like what I see, I can wear the clothes that I like again and feel good in what I wear. My husband comments on how much younger I look. He is thrilled that I feel better, and most importantly he can see that I’m a much happier person. I feel my attitude to life has been restored and I am feeling so much better about myself. I had multiple breast implant surgery before and unfortunately one of them is ruptured recently. Despite having my breast implant surgery done by 3 different plastic surgeons, I chose Dr Choy this time round after extensive online research and decided to go for a revision breast implant lift with him due to his great reputation for complex breast implant revision procedures. I had 625cc extra high profile round implants and originally wanted to upsize to around 800g! Dr Choy spent a lot of time talking me down the size and we finally agreed on 600g High Profile round implants. I'm so glad that I went with Dr Choy's recommendation. I’m only 1 week post op and already very happy with the result so far in comparison to all my previous surgery experience from other surgeons. Dr Choy and his team has been amazing throughout the whole process and I highly recommend Dr Choy for anyone considering breast implant revision surgery.

I am really happy with my results from Dr Phoon. From the minute I went to my first consult Jessie and the team at Park Clinic were so lovely and down to earth! The nurse after my procedure even wheeled me to my friends car who was picking me up. I had implants 590cc XHP placed and due to skin elasticity being weak they bottomed out, and Dr Phoon revised this issue 12 months later. He was not going to let me leave being unhappy which meant a lot to me. I would recommend him and have to plenty of women who have also gone to him and are so happy with the results!

I had my original breast augmentation done nearly 20 years ago, and initially, was happy with the results. Following pregnancies, breast-feeding, menopause and general aging, I felt that my breasts didn’t look as good as they could. After many hours of research we decided to meet with Dr Ellis Choy. I had a breast augmentation and breast lift back in 2004 with a high profile plastic surgeon but was always very unhappy with the results. We discussed my case in-depth, and he was completely honest and upfront about the challenges my case presented. He detailed every option available, the advantages and limitations of each one and then gave me his recommendations as to how to proceed. He was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and I knew I was in very good hands so I booked the surgery that day. From that initial consult Dr Choy and his team were fantastic. Communication was great, they were all so lovely, and they took care of everything. I thought it was going to be such an ordeal being an interstate patient but they made it feel more like a holiday and I can’t thank them enough. Even now as I go back for my follow up appointments they’re an absolute delight to deal with. No surgery is stress free but this one came pretty close. I stayed at a fantastic private hospital, the staffs were great, I had a wonderful anaesthetist, and most importantly, I had a very comfortable recovery. When Dr Choy examined me the morning after surgery I was honestly in shock at the results, my breasts looked amazing, I was absolutely thrilled! I didn’t expect it to affect me so profoundly but years of stress disappeared. I’m only a week post-op but I’m already feeling beautiful, more confident than ever, and so happy – I could not be more grateful. Dr Choy is an exceptional surgeon and a wonderful, humble person and my girlfriends that have seen me since the surgery are already checking their calendars to see when they can visit him. Both my partner and I come from a medical background and I honestly can’t recommend Dr Choy and his team more highly, you’ll be in the best of hands.

My journey has been really tough these last four years due to an initial breast implant augmentation in 2012 not going according to plan. Straight after the surgery you could see that my right breast was much more swollen that the left and was extremely painful. It wasn’t until a scan two months later that clearly showed that the upper portion of the breast implant was folded which is why I was in so much pain and was causing the bulge. Obviously this meant I would require a second surgery to correct this. I then went on to develop various deformities I.E bottoming out and double bubble in both breasts which did not give an aesthetic look. This really knocked my confidence self-esteem and relationship with my husband. Because of the experience I had with the previous surgeon, surgeries and problems it took me a long time (over three years) to pluck up the courage to think about getting these issues rectified. I saw three plastic surgeons one of which was Dr Choy. Right from the very beginning of the consultation Dr Choy was very honest, straightforward and explained the problems I had in great detail some of which I wasn’t aware I had. The three main problems were bottoming out of the implant, double bubble and muscle flex deformity. All of which were not going to be an ‘easy fix’. Even though I live in Brisbane I thought the travel to Sydney would be worth it so I booked the surgery for April 2017. On the day of my surgery I was extremely nervous but Dr Choy’s team were fantastic. The procedure itself was quite complicated but Dr Choy reassured me that the surgery had gone well and he was very happy with the results. I was in quite a bit of pain which was to be expected. I saw Dr Choy for a follow-up appointment three weeks later and all was well. Unfortunately a couple of days later one of my sutures popped (probably from stretching to close the boot of the car) and I developed a minor infection. Upon noticing this I immediately contacted Dr Choy and he called me back straight away with advice and assured me that everything would be ok. It has been a long and very emotional three months since developing an open wound that seemed reluctant to heal. Dr Choy however was very supportive, he gave me his mobile number which most surgeons don’t do. He would ring me out of the blue to check how I was doing both mentally and physically. His management of my situation from Sydney as I live in Brisbane was outstanding all the GP’s and staff who were treating my wound were very impressed with his hands-on approach despite him being in another state. I still have a little bit

After 4 kids and previous breast augmentation with suboptimal results, I decided to search for the right plastic surgeon to help my situation. After 2 months of extensive research and multiple enquiries, I've found Dr Ellis Choy. My experience with Dr Choy and his entire team has been absolutely amazing from start to finish. I'm now 3 months post op breast implant revision & lift and I'm ecstatic with the phenomenal results! I decided to have breast augmentation revision surgery because I was left disfigured from a previous breast augmentation/ lift by another surgeon. I suffered physical pain from the operation and emotional grief after that first surgery. Three and a half weeks after my botched surgery I contacted Dr Ellis Choy’s office. I spoke with his receptionist and his nurse; both were understanding of my position and emotional pain. Dr Choy phoned me that night at about 5.30pm. He spoke with me for an hour assuring me that my situation could be improved. He was amazing, he listened to my story, and he gave me hope again. This was a busy doctor I had never met before, and I knew then that I was in good hands. During my consultation with Dr Choy, he showed me pictures of other women that had similar botched surgery and the fantastic outcomes after surgery performed by him. We then planned our next step “breast augmentation lift revision” at six months after my first surgery. Two operations in six months…..The first night after surgery I felt relieved it was all over ,the next day I saw my new beautiful breasts. Six weeks post op my breasts are perfect, my scars are minimal and I had very little pain and down time compared to the first time. I feel like a woman again…. a proud woman. Thank you Dr Choy.

Late last year I discovered a lump under my right armpit, thinking it had absolutely nothing to do with the breast implants I had inserted 13 years prior I went to my GP for investigations. Following various tests and scans it was revealed on MRI that I did actually have a ruptured right breast implant and the lump under my arm was silicone that had migrated. Initially I was shocked and in disbelief, but fortunately my GP referred me to Dr Ellis Choy. From the first contact with Dr Choy and his staff I knew I was in safe and professional hands. All my questions were answered and all my concerns put to rest. Dr Choy outlined all my options for surgery in great details but I had already made up my mind that I would opt for a bilateral revisional breast augmentation which involved the removal of the old implants and replacement with new anatomical shaped implants. My original implants had been placed under the muscle and although it had never really bothered me my “breast animation” had become more pronounced over the years and the implants had shifted. Dr Choy explained my new implants would be placed above the muscle and produce a more natural look, this was particularly important to me as I had always been private about the fact I had breast implants and wanted the transition to hopefully go unnoticed. Leading up to my day of surgery Dr Choy and his team were always available to answer any questions and allay any fears I had. I was always greeted by his friendly staff and shown genuine concern when I would call with any questions, nothing was ever too much trouble. My original surgery had been quite painful so my biggest fear was post op pain. On the day of surgery Dr Choy met with me to once again go through the procedure. As soon as he walked in with his friendly, warm smile I knew I was in the right hands. Waking up in recovery I was amazed to be in absolutely no pain, and I was allowed to go home the next day and had minimal discomfort. I am now 1 month post surgery and am absolutely thrilled with the results. I now have more natural looking breasts with a cleavage and the breast animation is no longer present. Although I had not been unhappy with my old implants I now see such a big improvement in the overall appearance of my breasts. My confidence has returned and I am able to continue with my life without the fear of a ruptured implant inside me. I was originally told by my first surgeon that there was no reason why my implants wouldn’t last a lifetime, I now know this was naïve of me to believe. I was fortunate to be cared for by Dr Choy as I know that I will have the support of a great surgeon for years to come.

In 2015 I went on a quest to find a Plastic surgeon to correct my breasts after losing 35kgs they were horrible and deflated. I found a surgeon he was lovely and caring and being my first surgery I felt at ease with him due to his caring nature, I went forward with my procedure and had the lift with implants in October 2015 At first I was pretty happy with my results given there was a lift that corrected my saggy breast and I had more upper pole, but unfortunately within a few weeks I noticed that they weren’t sitting as high as I hoped and felt the implants moved a lot around my chest wall, Weeks past and I went back to have a check-up with my surgeon he was happy with the results and said to just wait it out due to the fact it was still early days and things could change but unfortunately as time went by the skin on my lower breast stretched more and more, unhappy… particularly when I lied down my breast would fall into my armpit, so I went to my surgeon and he agreed that my pockets needed tightening with a second procedure. Again within a few weeks I felt that my outcome was not what I hoped for and felt my skin was still too lose and I felt saggy for someone that had a full lift (wise pattern) and 300cc implants. I was then told that unfortunately given the fact that my skin was so stretched with lots of laxity that there wasn’t much else I could do and this was the best result someone in my position was able to achieve, I was devastated. I found myself crying and feeling horrible that I still couldn’t wear certain clothes and hated the way they looked without a bra. I went on a mission to get some more opinions with other surgeons since my original DR had done all he could, I had different responses and was told another Lift would possibly correct the problem. I knew they could be improved by another lift but by how much? And would I be content with those results? I never felt very convinced and even though I was told “yes I can fix this and Yes this is easy to correct I felt like I wasn’t ready to just jump into another surgery given the fact this would now be my 3rd and I really wanted to be sure. I had a total of 6 consults with multiple plastic surgeons. DR Choy was one for those surgeons from my first consult I was really happy with the way he communicated with me (my consult was simply the best I have every experienced by a mile) We spoke about the things I was looking for and how we could achieve those results given the circumstances. Everything was explained so clearly all questions were answered in such detail, I never felt rushed and

In March this year I saw Dr Ellis Choy as I had a ruptured left breast implant that needed to be replaced quickly. As I have a rare auto-immune disease I wanted the surgery done by the most competent and skilled surgeon I could find. I found Dr Choy. Taking me on with the complications of an auto-immune disease did not phase Dr Choy in the slightest. At my initial consultation I spent over an hour with Dr Choy discussing all the issues thoroughly. He also spent a considerable amount of time explaining the process, procedure and how my post-operative care would be handled. I was very grateful that Dr Choy was able to undertake the surgery a few weeks later. I will be truthful here and say that when I walked out of Dr Choy’s rooms following the initial consultation I was feeling relieved and comfortable with the whole process and confident that I had chosen the right specialist for me. He was thorough, polite, attentive, supportive and very pleasant. Dr Choy addressed all my concerns with care and sensitivity. In addition, I found Dr Choy’s staff to be respectful, efficient and very supportive which helped to put me at ease. The procedure itself went without a hitch particularly as I was susceptible to infection due to being on immune-suppressants. No worries there as I did not and do not have any infection. I’ve had some pain and discomfort but this was well managed. The staff at the private hospital I attended were also very efficient and took extra care of me due to my illness. Dr Choy saw me a number of times at the hospital to talk about the operation, any issues I had (I had none) and to ensure my illness was being managed. As a result, I am doing exceptionally well post operatively. Although I am somewhat hindered by my auto-immune disease this operation has not set me back in the slightest. At review seven days later, Dr Choy showed me photos of the ruptured implant and I was impressed with the outcome. I appreciated being informed about what had been undertaken. Ten days later I am feeling pretty good. Apart from being relieved that the ruptured implant has been removed and replaced, the impact on my life so far has been noteworthy. I have breasts that look amazing, are symmetrical and are in proportion to my body and look natural. This is what I wanted from the outcome and this has been achieved. Dr Choy is extremely efficient at what he does and is a highly skilled professional. I would highly recommend Dr Choy to anyone considering plastic surgery.

Dr Benjamin Norris repaired my stretched ear piercing holes. He used a technique whereby the original pierced hole remains in the same location and therefore it is not necessary to have your ears re pierced. You can wear a small stud straight away! I can't see the scar and my earring sits just where it used to 40 years ago! All the staff at Face and Form are lovely too. If you are thinking of having this procedure I highly recommend Dr Benjamin Norris.

Over 10 years ago with a different surgeon, I underwent a breast augmentation but hoping for bigger, was unhappy with the results. Following children/ breastfeeding, I consulted Dr Choy about revision surgery and immediately felt at ease setting out my (firm) expectations. In response he gave me very thorough feedback and advice. I was so impressed by him that I also ended up booking the tummy tuck! I am extremely happy with my mummy makeover and I am finally happy with the size of my breasts.

After being unhappy with previous breast augmentation results and scarring I decided to undergo revision surgery but was quite nervous that I wouldn't be able to get the results I wanted. However after a consultation with Dr Rahdon I felt confident and was very impressed with how friendly and professional him and his assistant Di, as well as all the other staff I met at the clinic were. Surgery and recovery was a breeze compared to my first breast augmentation a couple of years ago and I am beyond happy with the results. Couldn't recommend Dr Rahdon enough and a big thank you to him and his wonderful team at Body Recon!

In 2011 I had my first breast augmentation and in 2015 I noticed that my breasts were both starting to look distorted and feel tight and sore. I went back to the previous plastic surgeon who was extremely dismissive of my concerns. I had to ask for a referral for an ultrasound which was given under duress. This revealed capsular contracture and a possible rupture. Returning to my previous surgeon was not an option, surgery to fix it was unavoidable. After my previous experience I felt the weight of choosing a surgeon for a multitude of reasons. I researched extensively for alternative plastic surgeons as the pain and discomfort continued and the capsular contracture developed further. I narrowed down the surgeons to three to have consultations with before deciding. I chose to see Dr Ellis Choy because of his qualifications in both Breast and Plastic Surgery. I had no doubt that he had the knowledge and expertise to perform the operation. I read everything I could find, his reviews from previous patients which were all positive, and they were extremely happy with their results. I couldn’t and still haven’t seen a negative comment anywhere. I made an enquiry online one weekend and was impressed to be contacted by his team on the Monday. Living on the Mid North Coast in between (both of Dr Choy’s practices) I had my consultation in Coffs Harbour. I was extremely nervous before my appointment. Within moments Dr Choy had put me at ease, which reflected my experience with him and his team right throughout my journey. My situation was complex Dr Choy patiently and thoroughly explained the complexity of my situation, and covered all aspects including corrective surgery options available, the possible results, recovery period. I came to the decision Dr Choy was the best surgeon to treat me for various reasons which included his experience, reputation, background and qualifications. These of course are all important but from my experience, when those skills are matched with a kind nature and a professional caring bedside manner, the experience which can be difficult is so much easier. I am so grateful I found all these qualities with Ellis. Dr Choy made me feel as his potential patient not a potential customer, which seems, unfortunately so uncommon within the Plastic Surgery (Industry/field). Dr Choy’s team work with a remarkable synergy which creates a straightforward, pleasant experience. They go above and beyond to make sure the organisation of documents to recommending accommodation and settling my nerves everything has been seamless. Dr Choy’s surgical team were amazing, my surgery was complex and their care made me feel safe and secure. I am so pleased with my result, which exceeded my expectations. I am no longer in pain every day from the capsular contracture or consistent worry of complications from the capsular contracture and possible rupture. I am extremely grateful to Ellis for his expertise and care.  

Thursday last week I underwent removal and replacement of my 8 year old breast implants. After 8 years, 2 pregnancies and months of breast feeding my breasts still looked good, but I wanted them to look great. My body had undergone a lot of changes in 8 years and the breasts had 'drifted' apart (I had a really wide cleavage that I was self-conscious about). After consultation with Mr Rahdon, who made me feel like I was in the right hands from the first visit it was agreed we would revise the implants leaving them under the muscle but putting in a larger size to help balance up my body. I went from 350cc to 500cc and I absolutely love them. I was initially worried by the '500cc' suggestion from Mr Rahdon - as I love to run and love working out, so I didn't want large breasts to weigh me down. Well the 'BoobGod" didn't let me down. Mr Rahdon has picked the perfect size and profile for me and I couldn't be happier. Only 4 days post surgery and I have returned to work with minimal discomfort. Having breast implant revision surgery at the age of 61 was a huge decision for me. Thirty years ago I had a breast implant surgery but found my breasts were too big and I was unhappy. Over the last five years I have really struggled with self-confidence, body image and finding clothes that did not show off my big breasts and awful cleavage. I finally decided to find a new plastic surgeon and could not be happier now with the outcome. Dr Choy has given me a new beginning. I am more confident. My posture and gait have improved and I love my new silhouette. Now, shopping for clothes is something I really enjoy. Dr Choy is the Rembrandt of plastic surgery!!! The new shape of my breasts has made such a difference to my frame (I am very short) and I look slimmer!! Friends who have it done by other surgeons are now jealous & think I look fantastic. Clothes fit better and I love getting dressed up to go out…..best decision I ever made! Firstly, let me start with my breast augmentation; after meeting three local plastic surgeons with no great success I decided to have a breast augmentation overseas in April 2015. The surgery went well with no issues however in week four post op I experienced a haematoma after walking up a lighthouse something my surgeon had cleared me for. That evening my breast swelled and the implant moved towards my collar bone on my left hand side - this resulted in a very scary night in an emergency ward. I desperately wanted a professional opinion after this issue as at the hospital I only had access to a plastics register. This proved hard as my initial surgeon was overseas and could only communicate via email and photographs. After a lot of research I came across Dr. Guy Watts in Cottesloe WA. I was able to book a consultation with Dr. Watts who regretfully advised me the issue with my new implants was that the left hand side appeared to be constricted or commonly referred to as having capsular contraction. Initially I was so very anxious about the complication and Dr Watts from the moment I met him worked with me by giving me reassurance, answers and time frames to work with to ensure I was ready for a capsuletomy something my overseas surgeon was ready to do immediately (now on reflection would have been the worst way forward for me mentally and physically) . Dr Watts not only ensured I was in the best frame of mind for my revision surgery but made sure I was realistic in regards to outcomes. It has nearly been 12 months from the initial surgery and I am now two weeks out of the revision surgery and the results speak for themselves. I am so happy and have had the most amazing experience with Dr Watts and his team. His office manager is impeccable, Ashe assisted with all my requirements I needed for my insurance/overseas surgeon reports in a prompt and timely manner. Her customer service is next to none and this makes you feel like your Dr Watts most important patient at all times; little things like a care package as you leave hospital just makes you feel so special. I can only speak praise of Dr Watts. I have been working with him for over six months and his patience, diligence and professionalism never waived making me feel like I was in the right hands. He assisted me with overcoming the complication and mentally prepared me for the next step. His after care has been exceptional from visiting me a number of times after surgery, calling me a day after I got home; to allowing me to text him should I have any concerns. I only wish I had found him the first time!

From my research to finding the right Doctor who was able to rectify my previous breast implant surgery, I made an appointment to see Dr Choy who had outstanding reviews for breast lift and implant surgery, along with a few others. After my first consultation at Zilver Lining I immediately cancelled my other appointments, as his thoroughness and genuine understanding for the results I was seeking were imminent. I felt completely comfortable and confident he would be able to rectify my previous surgery’s issues. The whole team at Zilver Lining were above and beyond amazing. Dr Choy has given me the results he explained he aimed to achieve throughout all of my pre surgery consultations and the result is better than I ever expected. I have endured a seamless recovery experience and am beyond grateful for the great results. After the first implant surgery left me extremely disappointed and the promised results were not gained, Dr Choy’s work has completely restored my confidence and overall look. He is extremely caring, professional and thorough in explaining all details and information necessary. I had complete confidence in him and during every visit it was clear his team felt the same. Hi , I've never written on a forum before but I was so impressed by the care and kindness of Dr Craig Rubinstein's, team that I felt I had to let everyone know. I'm a 58 yr old nurse working in Melbourne. I had breast implants done in 1990. (So long long time ago, back when there was all those rumours about them being bad for you). They were beautiful and I wasn't getting them removed. I've had regular breast checks and mammograms especially since I turned 50 yrs old, all was always great. Still a month ago I found a lump and freaked out (forget being the calm rational nurse). I had all the tests; mammograms and MRI and my GP just said the Surgeon will let you know al the results...great! I was sent to Dr Craig Rubinstein in Hawthorn East. I arrived 30 mins early for my appointment carrying tons of x rays, MRI scan with a sick feeling in my tummy. Nothing could have been kinder than the receptionist who despite only having just opened the doors, sat me down, made me a coffee and talked of general things. Dr Rubinstein was fantastic he explained that my breast implants had ruptured due to age and would need replacing. All panic over, I booked the first available appointment and had the surgery at ST V's in Kew. Dr Rubinstein's kind professionalism keeping me informed all through this period was amazing. He is never too busy to answer questions often reassuring you on a point before you've had time to ask it. The results are fantastic. I loved my breasts before and was afraid that they couldn't possibly be as good... I'd say they were better. I've had no pain with the procedure just a bit uncomfortable or tightness this is taken care of by the pain killers provided. They look fantastic. The nurses in his rooms are so gentle that the post op appointment was great. I've even booked in more treatments. SO if you need any advice on removal and replacement I would really recommend Dr Rubinstein and his fantastic team in Hawthorn East.

I am now 1 year postop of a complicated revisional breast implant surgery by Dr Ellis Choy and I’m forever grateful for his expertise & most wonderful care in correcting the breast deformity by another surgeon in my original breast augmentation surgery nearly 2 years ago.I had always wanted to get breast augmentation for years as I am heavily into fitness and felt I had more pec muscle than breasts. I did some research and came across a very well known cosmetic surgery clinic where I ended up having my first breast augmentation done. Big mistake!On the day of surgery, I told the doctor in the cosmetic clinic how important fitness was to me. He took measurements and said that because I had so little breast tissue I would end up with a small gap (no more than 3cm) between my breasts but that a bra would push them together.Ten months after surgery I still could not push my boobs together as there was at least a 4cm gap between them. I went back and saw the doctor again and He then told me I was too lean, that I needed to put on weight and that I could not do chest exercises. He said that if he re-operated I would maybe gain 1cm either side if lucky and I would have to pay another $6000, just like my original surgery!I was utterly devastated so decided to get a second opinion. This is when I met Dr Choy after referral from a very good friend of mine who had breast augmentation surgery done by him. The difference, just in that initial consultation was amazing. I instantly felt comfortable and he was very interested in my lifestyle and getting me the best possible outcome. I had 3 consultations with him before the surgery and even the day before my operation I went to his office in Sydney and again we went through what the outcome would be.  I went into surgery the next day and woke up in the afternoon with boobs that can be pushed together and do not go under my armpits! Dr Choy had also exchanged for a new set of implants with new pockets creation in order to rectify the deformity and improve the overall breast shape & size to my preference. I am so happy with my new breasts and I’ve been in love with my new cleavage ever since!The two experiences do not even compare - they were 100% different. My plastic surgeon was so much more educated and thorough compared to my cosmetic surgeon. Dr Choy was a lot more open and confident in discussing possible complications and what he could do to avoid or fix them if they occurred. I wish I could tell other women not to be so price driven and to look for top quality plastic surgeon like Dr Choy.

Recently my right implant (of 17 years) deflated. I was mortified!I would have to have surgery one way or another and needed to make a decision to either have my implants removed or have them replaced. I began an online search for a local surgeon and interviewed several. Each surgeon varied in price a little and knowledge and empathy a lot. I knew I had the right place when I phoned Doctor Choy’s office. The ladies in the office were AMAZING, each and every one of them. They were knowledgeable, empathetic and patient with my repeated phone calls and questions but what sealed the deal was my interview with Dr. Choy. He took the time to call me at home at 7:30 at night and sat on the phone with me for over an hour answering my questions (I was in tears much of the time) and easing my fears. I knew he was my surgeon. My husband and I drove to Sydney from Coffs Harbour for surgery the following week. We continued to be impressed with their professionalism and support when we arrived at Zilver Linings (Dr Choy’s office) for our consultation and initial face-to-face meeting with Dr. Choy and his staff. They were A+ from the word go. They went out of their way more than once to accommodate my needs and requests (Including Dr Choy hand delivering my hand bag that I had left behind in my hotel.BTW. My decision was to have my implants replaced. My surgery was very successful. Doctor Choy did a fantastic job in explaining to me all of my options (as there were more than I would have thought) I’m SO happy with the end results (My husband is too ;) In the end the whole experience was actually a little fun. My husband and I enjoyed two nights together in Sydney in a fantastic hotel (suggested by Dr Choy’s staff) that was within walking distance from the surgery. I’m now four weeks post op and feeling great and happy with my decision.
