That sounds really weird and I'm so sorry you had such a rotten time with it.....nothing like our (hubby and me) experience. We also never needed to put anything on afterwards, just took care not to eat staining type foods for the next week. Apart from the slight irritation nervy feeling for the next day or so, we were all good. I can honestly say the dental department at Bangkok Hopsital Phuket were great and were very professional and our results are better than we'd hoped. Obviously I can't vouch for other places in Phuket so it sounds like researching is the key.

yes there is the PS vs cosmetic surgeon debate, I think there are good and average and bad in both! I wouldn't totally discount Cosmetic surgeon completely based on the arguement, as there are some brilliant ones that specialize in BA's and have brilliant results (for example Dr Harwood), and there are some PS who rarely do BA's and although are good surgeons, may not be as experienced in doing BA's. You are doing the right thing by doing heaps of research, and when you choose a surgeon (be it PS or cosmetic), be sure you are comfortable with them and that you can afford it. You may also want to check what sort of guarantee you get, as I you have a tight budget and if you developed complications, you will want to have some assurance that it will be dealt with with minimal expense. If you go for brazlians, you may have more peace of mind regarding capsular contracture, and rotation (if you go for anatomicals) as they have a very low cc rate and are guaranteed not the rotate. Obviously the expertise of the surgeon is one of the biggest considerations.

HI Don't know much about face lift surgery, but had my lower eyes done by Dr Piyapas at Bangkok Hospital Phuket, and he did a wonderful job, very fine scar which you truely cannot see, both eyes even and the same and once swelling went down no sag (BA is terrific too ) Might be worth contacting the hospital and getting a quote from them (my contact was Mark who was great at getting back to me and answering questions (mark.an@bgh.co.th) although I suspect he will be on the pricer side, but his work is great from my experience. I'm sure there will be some other recommendations out there....good luck
