Surgical bra day and night for 6 weeks (although surgeon said could start wearing sports bras now but still a bit wary and scared to), from 6 weeks onwards sports bras no underwire, and then 12 weeks onwards normal bras. But probably going to avoid underwire for longer to give my incisions full time to rest

Love the crops!!!!!!!!! Also would love to know where they are from! Might be another stupid question also.. But my surgeon said to wear 'moulded' sports bras as they offer the support needed, but compression/surgical bras aren't moulded bras.. They are no different to cotton crop top sports bras. So how come they're ok yet sports bras should only be moulded shaped ones?!?

@Shygirl79 that's a really nice bra. Your boobs still look high and there's a gap down the bottom of the cup so I dare say over time it will fit much better. And who knows.. You might go up a size still!!! @Jackattack and I were talking about this only the other day, in that we both tried normal bras on however the boobs didn't fill out/mould to the bra so were gaps around the boobs, the boobs are just still too hard so not spreading or filling the cup. It's just sooooo hard to be patient I know lol lol

Hey stupid question ladies, but what exactly is 'morning boob'? I wanna know if it's what I'm experiencing...

@Shygirl79 I feel the same when I see posts about big boobs lol, but then I think about the trouble he had fitting even the 300cc's in and the extra length he had to make the incision and the trauma to my left boob/rib cage from obviously trying to get the implant in I think I'm lucky to have even gotten this size in and that I wasn't just wheeled out of theatre with nothing. It's soooooooo hard waiting for them to drop and fluff. Just want to know my final size lol I tried on some bras the other day but because boobs still aren't very soft the boob didn't mould into/fill out the bra so just didn't work lol.

@Jackattack our recoveries sound very similar, even with our surgeries on the same day. Send me a private message and we can chat further? Be interested to compare a few things. I can't work out why muscles that would've been cut under my boob to put the implants in have obviously healed faster than that sternum muscle which was cut. I'm not due back to my surgeon until mid August...

@Jackattack how's your sternum going? I'm also 4 weeks tomorrow and still struggling. Spoke to my surgeon's assistant and she is going to speak with the surgeon but thinks my recovery has been impacted because of the sternum muscle.. But can't help but wonder if they cracked my sternum coz the pain is really quite bad. Trying to sleep on my side and it's just not working. Boobs have absolutely no pain, just the sternum. My right boob is fine, full feeling etc. but Left is still swollen and bigger and numb underneath and that's 4 weeks on...

@Jackattack you're definitely not alone!! I was speaking to my gf today who had her boobs done 2 weeks before me and she is already sleeping on her back and side again but my doc said still no for me. I get a really sore sternum if I do. But I think it's because they had to cut my sternum muscle to fit the implants so it's still not healed and laying flat on back puts pressure on it. Sooooo over trying to sleep sitting up ? I went into bras n things today and they told me to try Myer.. I couldn't be bothered though as had 2 sooky kids and hubby in tow lol. How often are people changing their dressings, and by dressings I mean piece of tape over their incision.. Or that's all I have anyway. And no not joking @D e but as I said above may be because of my sternum muscle being cut.. But surgeon told me not to still.

Thanks @Shygirl79. Haven't heard of that shop here in Sydney but will take a trip to bras n things today to have a look! I've found this post surgery bra is comfier than sports bras still. Maybe it's just the security of it. Those ladies that are now 4 weeks post op, how are you sleeping? Are you still sleeping sitting up? I miss being fully horizontal ☹️

    June 2016 girls!

@Jackattack I'm 22dpo and I'm having a bit of that.. I feel like I'm always engorged, that feeling I had when my milk came in after giving birth, and they feel heavy and hanging on the front (and only 300cc). I find myself wondering if they'll always feel like that and I just never knew coz I had none or if it'll go away.. I overdid it today so paying for it now with pain...

So I went back to work today and boy am I tired and sore tonight!! I wore my surgical bra only because when I tried the moulded sports bras on they felt way too tight on the boobs. I was worried they were too tight and could do damage?! I tried calling my doc but couldn't get onto him. Anyone got any advice???
