Hi All Well I was super excited today to start ringing surgeries to get an idea of out of pocket for tummy tuck. Tummy tuck is required due to weight loss. I have private health insurance and I'm really shocked (obviously naive) at the costs I've been quoted . It has ranged from $3500-12k here in Adelaide. I had a breast reduction last year and that was $1k out of pocket. Has anyone been quoted cheaper than the $3500k. Thanks from stressing.....?

Hi Ladies, I'm just hoping for some feedback on costs of your Tummy Tuck surgeries and length of stay needed in hospital. Financially I don't want to stay in hospital at all after the surgery...it's just so crazy expensive on top of an already expensive procedure. However, I do actually WANT to stay in hospital (away from the 3 kids) so I can recover properly. Champagne taste beer budget! I am yet to have an initial appointment with any Plastic Surgeons yet (I'm in Brisbane)... but I'm not sure if certain plastic surgeons use more expensive hospitals, or force you to stay in longer e

Hi Guys, I'm planning on going to Thailand for Rhinoplasty and I'm hoping someone could give me a run through of their experience with Dr Montien? He seems to have no negative reviews and a lot of positive so I'm leaning towards him. I've seen a few posts with regards to going through tour groups but can anyone tell me if they've been direct? Without a tour company? Price differences maybe? I've been to Thailand on holiday a few times and I'm quite savvy with flights and accommodation and have a good handle on the atmosphere, how not to get ripped off by cab and tuk tuk drivers etc. so I'm c

Hi there, I'm 34 years old girl based in Adelaide SA - no children. Surgery - BOTH Majora & Minora I have been bothered by my lifetime of discomfort/pain whilst sitting, standing, walking, riding bicycles - it gets stuck 'down there', chaffing and removing my underwear hurts! Don't get me started on the attempts to tuck it in and the toilet paper issues... ? Its absolutely embarrassing to see the bulge & outline in my workout pants - I'm restricted to selected Lorna Jane pants. All can see everything through my bikini bottoms - I have about 15 pairs in effort to find a

It's wasn't until I saw Before and After pictures on a few Google Image searches that I realized I have grown up with Tuberous Breasts. I had always felt insecure and awkward about my breasts but I felt a sense of comfort once I realized that this condition is so comon! I booked in to see my GP and got a referral to Dr David Theile in Brisbane. I have researched Dr Theile and am excited to be having a consultation with him next week! I'am wanting to hear of your experiences with Dr David Theile, and anyone that has had this kind of surgery covered by Medicare (no I don't have any private
