LaydeeTJ got a reaction from lilacandlavender in Any Mild Tuberous ladies out there?
Hiya Ladies
I am looking at adding friends to talk & compare stories & photos of tuberous (mild-grade 1) breasts. If you have them or had them & have had surgery please add me or comment on here so we all can unite together. I know it's hard to gather anyone on here that have the same conditions/issues as ourselves sometimes & hoping this would make it easier to find all of us. It's comforting to know that we don't go through this alone also & that someone else actually understands the emotions we go through. If there are any before & after photos of members on here that would help the rest of us looking at or waiting for our surgeries that would be welcomed also

You shouldn't feel bad about researching what's best for your body ?
1. Thank you!
2. I had a tuberous breast correction and augmentation. 390cc anatomical cohesive gel implants, dual plane placement, with periareolar incisions to correct the size and shape of my nipples and scoring of the tissue.

I see your photo, yeah mine have taken months to get to where they are so don't be too disheartened about any sort of shape at the moment. I know it's a long time to wait and a lot of patience. Even 12months later sometimes they're only just getting to their final shape and position. I'm now 8 and a half months and my cleavage is still going down/skin stretching out to accommodate them.

Hey!
I could have applied for the rebate but it would have meant the surgeon would have had to to the surgery through my nipple and I didn't want that if I didn't need it. I had a straight forward augmentation but he's released my lower breast tissue (think of cutting a mango) so that they eventually look "normal"
heres a pic from today ☺️
I'm still really struggling with bloating ?

Is there anywhere I would be able to compare what is classed as "mild" tuberous breasts.
I have had 2 consultations. 1st through cosmeditour from a Phuket surgeon. The 2nd was also Phuket but I visited them on my recent holiday to get a second opinion face to face. He told me I was able to have just augmentation and doing it this way would just mean 6 months before i would start to have better results. He also said that i can have a doughnut lift to move my nipple but that is far more costly and is just more instant results. has anyone else had this info? and what was your opinion?
I have looked on google heaps... i mean google has some real extreme images of tuberous breast but I have been trying to see as close to mine as possible. they seem to have okay results but again their not me so i don't know again!
thanks for your help girls hope what I've said makes sense hahah

mine were so swollen and round when i woke up! that was so quick 45min? yep dr m is a perfectionist lol.. the worst post op I think is the sleeping sitting up kinda on a slant. Do you have to do that? I had drains in eith side of my boobs till the next night when i went back to see dr m at his office.

Can't wait to see your results!!
my surgery lasted about 2 and a half hours for all the scoring and moving the tuberous tissue around to get great shape inside and cleavage. Dr m came out to see my in recovery after a few hours and told me he moved alot of the tuberous tissue around to give me good definition
Plus the resizing and stitching of the areolas.. he said that I had literally hundreds of stitches inside of me and they would dissolve except for the permanent areola stitches underneath the skin.
Thanks doll! Can't wait to see your updates

I hope they do ? I just checked my countdown timer. Feeling so excited!
How was your recovery because you had a bit of extra internal work done at the same time? Did you get feeling back?
Thanks for that! My Insta will just be a timeline for me to look back on.
? that's so true! By adding more weight I'll be feeling way more relaxed about my body ? It's all for a good cause
have fun at the wedding, I pop an update on Insta and on here ☺️ Looking forward to keeping in touch x

Hey!
thanks for your reply! I'm so glad to hear that you are over the moon with your surgery and it's gone so well!
We have decided on 560cc HP implants and my surgery is this Friday ?, I asked if he needed to release lower pole and I received and email back stating that, yes, he needs to do that.
I'm just a little nervous, because I don't have a crystal ball to see what the result will look like, but I trust Dr Richardson. He showed my partner and I similar cases (both slightly better and slightly worse than what I have) and I was very happy with their results.
I don't have major asymmetry nor do I require a lift right now, his nurse that I retried on sizers with said he may lower my crease however.
Its a big decision, but I wouldn't go through with it if I wasn't comfortable.
I'll add you on insta. It's rhi.ba

Hi Rhiannon!
I'm 8 months on from my surgery and I'm great! best thing I ever did for myself!!
There are a few of us mildly tuberous ladies on here, some of us have had our areolas resized and have permanent stitches under our skin so that they don't stretch out with the stretching of our boob skin to accommodate our new implants, ans some of the girls haven't needed to get that done and look absolutely amazing!
I did have my areolas resized and do have the permanent stitches underneath feels weird when I feel under the scars (rim of the areolas) haha but I don't mind them. The only thing I wish was different is bigger boobs (I have 375cc's, I could've gone 390cc's, but the width was why Dr M went with 375cc ) .... and I didn't actually discuss the size matter of the areolas before surgery, I just left it up to Dr M.. lol but now I wish I had asked beforehand and gotten them slightly smaller (that's just my taste though).. I have lower pole and alot of it as the surgeon should be "scoring" the tissue inside (a bit like how you cut a mango into cubes and fan it out) so that the constricted tissue can be released. Just make sure you go to a reputable surgeon and have a look at his or her before and after work on similar cases to yours for credibility, that way you can be rest assured they know exactly what they are doing and don't risk having to have a revision surgery to fix a job not well done.

Hi Violett, thankyou for sharing with us I am so happy you finally are happy with yourself & I definitely get the whole description you explained. Especially the anxiety it caused and it pretty much robs you from ultimate self happiness. The feeling of how you can now move on with your life sounds very descriptive as to how we all feel I'd gather, not just myself.
Hope you're healing well & have a smooth recovery xx

Hi Lana777,
you could try Dr Benjamin Norris I had tuberous breast correction which included bl, Ba & ar had my surgery 27th September he used round high profile implants on me, I couldn't be happier with the results! All up it cost me around 11,500 including the anethetist fees, I also got a rebate back from Medicare & my private health fund so it only up costing me around $9k.
good luck with your search!!

oh exciting. When r u having surgery?
I have emailed both Dr M and DR T and awaiting booking a phone consult. Just got the best news my mums friend has an apartment that we can stay in Sydney for free!!! It's in Willoughby only 17mins from Dr M at Bondi junction. That will save me $1k so that will help

Hey Lana,
I haven't had my surgery yet but I'm booked in with Dr M in February. I have grade 2 tuberous breasts and need to have my tissue scored, anatomical implant to help create a more regular breast shape and I'm also having an incision around my areolas to correct the herniation and stop them from stretching after the augmentation. I was quoted $14100 for The surgeons fees, plus around another $2k for the anaesthetist and hospital fees combined. My total cost including accommodation and flights from the Gold Coast comes just under $17000. It's a hefty price but I definitely think you should spend the $150 to know for sure if Dr Miroshnik is a possibility for you. You wouldn't want to go the rest of your life wondering "what if?" Right? ? There's a few other girls on the forum that have had tuberous corrections with dr M as well, I hope they see this and can let you know of their experiences and costs too-I do know they've all been positive ones though!

I am a Dr M girl, honestly its worth the $150! Mine were pretty straight forward and cost $12500.
A lot will come back to your desired outcome, for me I wanted the "are they real?" not the "OMG they are so fake" look.
I stalked Dr M for about 4yrs before I finally bit the bullet and booked in, by the end of my phone consult I was 100% confident I had made the right decision.
As for accommodation I stayed in the same building as his surgery, his patience pay about half the normal nightly rate, my surgery was done in the hospital straight across the road so I walked to and from surgery, so much easier then trying to find your way around sydney when you are not use to the city.
