How far apart should your implants ideally be?

ok, so Im a little obsessed with the gap between my implants and it was in fact the biggest worry I had before having my BA, and now still my biggest worry after having had my BA!! I know all surgeons have different rules on implant width and bwd... My bwd was 12.5 (I think) however my surgeon said no bigger than the 11.5 width...whereas other ladies on here were able to go up to their bwd. So I feel like the gap between my implants is pretty large, I'd say it's about 3cm or thereabouts. I started off completely flat so I have no idea how close together normal boobs should be?? Is cleavage only created normally through using a push up bra or would it actually have been possible for me to have achieved this had my surgeon given me a wider implant?! It's really bugging me as everyone else on here seems to have more like a 1-2cm gap I'm getting slightly paranoid about mine!??

Heaps of change to come Hun. I'm still not convinced mine will be as close as I want them...but I have noticed a huge change in the last two weeks. When they soften up they are a lot easier to manipulate, so look better in bras ect. I have seen on google some surgeons get the girls to tie the front of their bras together to bring them in?

How many fingers ? I have about 2 fingers lying down I have 3-4 , it all depends really , I have a wide cleavage to begin with so nothing would help my cleavage to come together apart from Internal sutures laterally ,I did have a internal bra with my old implants so as to bring them together as my chest concave just wouldn't do it naturally , even with a flat chest I had a very prominent cleavage line but wide breasts ,,,,,im so wanting to see yours im sure it's not as bad as you say :/ but can't encourage you without seeing ! Sometimes we are our own worst critics

Did your surgeon speak to you about your gap prior to surgery?? My surgeon spoke to me about it in length. He told me my anatomy would never allow me to have kissing boobs and so after surgery I would still have a gap. I was fine with this as even when my breasts were engorged with milk they never met in the middle. I have a 2 to 3 finger gap with no bra on. They come more closer together when I wear a bra though but still a gap.

One dr I saw said the minimum he will place them is 3cm apart. Any closer and you risk the skin lifting off between your boobs - total disaster.

Im yet to have my BA but I'm going with dr broad hurst who never mentioned anything about gaps etc so I'll trust him to place them the right distance apart. I'm getting a bigger implant than you but I'm sure mine will look will wide apart at first but should soften and look closer together as time goes on, as I'm sure yours will

I had a 2-3 cm gap before surgery and it's about the same now. I had 390ccs and the implant was the same width as my breast width. I think it's more to do with our anatomy that the implant chosen. I'm only 6 weeks so I'm hoping they will come a bit closer together. Some of the girls on here seem to think they may :)
