  1. inde12 reacted to Jessiegrace in Dr Mansoor Mirkazemi or Kim Taylor?
I finally got it done!! Dr Mansoor Mirkazemi was my surgeon I had surgery a week ago with him to remove my badly contracted breast implants and had capsulectomy both sides. I went to see 7 different surgeons ( Mansoor was the 7th!) as I wanted to make sure I found the best person for me and who I felt most comfortable with and as soon as I met him I knew he was the surgeon for me. He is kind and very empathetic and on the day of surgery I was EXTREMELY nervous so he held my hand and my head while they put me to sleep to reassure me.
i can't recommend him highly enough! If you have any other questions feel free to ask I was where you are now only a week ago! I'm on the other side now and although I'm in pain it is the best feeling being free of them! ☺️✨

    Hi subtle and discrete

i am getting them removed as I just want to be natural again and I have capsular contracture quite bad so am in pain etc and is very uncomfortable. But I was very happy with them for the years I had them and they served a purpose at the time which was me being young and insecure about my flat chest but now being older (30) I have decided to remove them.

you will be in good hands with mark apparently he is the best hence me going to see him for an opinion on my removal!

But it I can also highly recommend dr Douglas mcmanamy as he is the one who did mine originally and they look natural and have been amazing the years I have had them

there's always a good reason to have them removed ! It's great your happy but there are people who haven't had the experience you have and I would think that's it's gotta be pretty bad for someone to think about having them removed ! Not anything you would just wake up and decide to do , pain factors maybe or cosmetically they don't look right maybe aswell , I know mine were excruciating and having them in was causing me a loss of income and a sex life aswell all in my first year of marriage too ? Sometimes out great experiences are not someone else's and all surgery carries risks and infavoursble outcomes . Each to there own I support girls who want them and girls who don't as I have been both and I know there's no easy answer to it it really is a personal one and need to support either one as both are life changing

So you've had them for vanity reasons and now you're judging others who get them for personal reasons. No wasted money here best money I ever spent!
How about we all spend our own money and adjust are own body as we see fit.
I hope you've prepared yourself for post explantation, I believe it can be very emotional and not so pretty. I'm taking my waste of money to the ground

I've had mine in for nearly 20 years, planning an explant soon (in Perth). Went from an A cup to a C, now I'm a D. I'd rather be a flat A - it's far more natural, easier to find clothes that fit properly, easier to exercise and far fewer health worries about having something foreign in me that my body attacks (capsular contraction and possible silicone shredding are just 2 possibilities). Unless you're getting a breast reconstruction for medical reasons, personally I think they're completely unnecessary and a waste of money. Getting BA purely for vanity reasons is just crazy. Have a look at the American "Real Self" site and the (growing) number of women who are opting to have their implants removed without a lift or replacement and educate yourself on what can and does go wrong with implants.

Tony does a lot of revisions from other surgeons including Thailand. Sorry to hear you're having a complication. He did my redo and I was thrilled but then pregnancy destroyed my boobs. He's very knowledgable and I'm sure he will be able to help you.

I've said it once and I'll say it again it's a very rare day that a person who has their plastic surgery in Australia needs to be rushed to a overseas hospital to have their surgery fixed on the other hand I can't even count how many times I've read girls on here having to front up to their local Australian emergency room to fixed - at tax payers expense by the way. I would never risk my life to save a few grand!

God beware of Southern Europeans they are so beautiful but they are fiery and arrogant but they certainly have plus points too hehehe I don't know exactly who'our' Boys is referring to? I've never been in a relationship a white Anglo Aussie man. My first hubby was Greek heritage and my current husband is half Italian half Croation. The Greek man spoilt me rotten but was a total obsessive psycho who was emotionally retarted - so beautiful though- he was my first love and I knew nothing better - until he threw me across a room and ripped the muscles and tensions off my bones then I left him. My current husband supports me and is my biggest cheer leader - he encourages me with uni, helps me be healthy, we have the same interests and he's super affectionate and loving but he does have a temper though I know he'd never ever ever hurt me and he is so close with his mum - sometimes too close hehe. I did date a English man and he was a true gentleman - opened car doors for me, flew me over seas after 2 months, was amazing at mmhmm but emotionally numb - when we had problems he just shut down! I'd much rather fiery over numb hmmm ok so maybe yes go Italians hehehe sorry I've really crapped on here!mall I know is everyone's different and it takes different strokes for different folks

I think you need to fine tune your dickhead radar if you keep attracting them... I used to date.. A lot! Lol, but you have to make men date you as in don't just go to their house and hang out, I know it's the more casual way to do things but that's the number one way to end up in the wrong relationship because it's the easiest way to do just that. I used to do the two date rule, first date go out and have fun with them and see if there chemistry and a natural like of each other, at the end of the date assess are they good enough for date two if they are date two is the time to suss out their values and if there is potential for date three or a relationship if there are any concerns shut them down and date someone else. I was called ruthless for this but it worked for me - my relationship is by no means perfect but I'm happy and have a great mate. If your not fussed about finding someone though I say just take some time out and yes go on the bachelor. Also you don't want kids so who cares about age xxx

I have brazillians. I got them after having textured gel implants for 9years - I developed stage 3 cc in both breasts it was painful, uncomfortable and disappointing I had to have major major capsulectomies to get rid of the awful scar tissue. My gels were very soft but in the end they brought me so much discomfort that the extra softness is not something I buy into anymore. So far my brazillians are aesthetically pleasing, I saw my surgeon last Thursday for a check up as I feel one is still holding back a bit but unfortunately they do take a long time to come into a their own but he was impressed and we looked at my pre and post photos - omg the difference is amazing! I have a whole year of waiting to see the final result! I'm not the most patient of creatures. I've gone on a bit here but at the end of the day you need to weigh up what are deciding factors to you. Do you want a bit more softness and are comfortable with a small but present increase in risk of cc? Do you want to wait a year for final results but have a lower risk of cc? With a skilled surgeon most implants are capable of producing beautiful results and the women of this forum are proof of that but what I would advice is too look past the first few years of nice looking freshly implanted breasts and think about your long term breast health and where you are at in your life. X
