Doll Girl 0
Heyya there, I'm 24 and wanting recommendations on a surgeon based in either Sydney or Canberra who is good with sculpting thighs, especially inner thighs and knees.I had started gaining weight a little before my 23rd birthday due to antidepressant medication and a LOT of excess chocolate (I made it as a hobby but gave it up because I'd much rather have a nice body), but at my biggest I was only a little bit chubby for a young adult (although I did end up with very large breasts, went from a C-cup to over an F-cup) , but have been and still am losing naturally since I stopped the medication and have cut down on sugary things. I plan to have liposuction done after my weight stabilises (I've actually wanted my thighs done since I was a teenager) ; and am using the time until then to do the necessary research. When I am eating healthy and exercising my weight tends to sit around the lower end of the "healthy" range for my height, and I am quite small-boned. A lot of the fat I do have at my natural size, however, is on my inner thighs (and the backs of them as well to a certain extent) and is very embarrassing, and I feel they are out of proportion with how thin my arms, waist, neck and lower legs tend to be. I also have fatty deposits just above my knees which gives them a rather rounded, "pudgy" appearance. The inside of my knees are probably the worst area, especially as the fat seems to "jut out" above my lower legs (which have always been thin although I have recently gained some muscle in my calves from playing drums)I'm looking for a surgeon who can first and foremost respect my own sense of aesthetics, I don't need my thighs to be "balanced" with my breasts as I would prefer to be a more "tomboyish" B-cup anyway; I don't care for having an "hourglass" figure at all, especially an exaggerated one. Thighs are first priority and it's more important that they are "balanced" with my slender arms and waist. It is a given that the surgeon is reputable with a high success rate. Scars are not an issue ( I already have very shallow scars on my thighs and am hoping THEY are still willing to work on me despite this) If they can safely remove a substantial amount from the problem areas that would be the best. Ideally I'd like have enough removed, that if I were to buy a pair of shorts or pants that fit properly around the hips and bum, they wouldn't be quite as "filled out" in the legs anymore. I'm hoping that is realistic and medically safe.Does anyone have any recommendations? Has anyone had a successful outcome on such a procedure before? And importantly, who should I steer clear of?Thanks in advance
Noods 10
HI Doll, Have you had any luck with finding a surgeon? I am in Canberra and am looking to reduce the size of my thighs..... Willing to travel to Sydney (or anywhere else for a good surgeon)
Cleopatra111 6
I am not sure who to steer clear of but I can recommend a great doctor for liposculpture. Dr Rastogi. He recently did my thighs and hips. Amazing results. Just amazing. You need to have lymphatic massages twice a week for about a month, and wear a garment for a while post-op. Dr Rastogi trained under the man who INVENTED liposuction in Europe years ago, so he has a different technique to the traditional suck-the-fat-out and see how it goes process of liposuction. Everything is considered - the shape, your size, your contours and proportions. Give the clinic a call, the staff are really nice, but you know what? Dr Rastogi is even better! One of the best in Australia... love him, but good luck with whoever you decide on. Maybe research a few other liposuction/sculpture surgeons on here via the forum? xx

Hunter Plastic Surgery sounds like it could be a great fit for you - they have the busiest coolsculpting clinic in the country but also, its run by plastic surgeon Dr nick moncrieff - so in this sense, they can offer you a treatment plan that may or may not be surgical - i would look into them for sure
