Feeling down after replacement

So I had my left inpmant removed and replaced due to capsular contraction. Surgery went well but atm I have 2 different sized boobs. I know that swelling will go etc but seriously this bloody sux esp since we are coming into Summer and im on a cruise in 5 weeks. I feel emotionally drained from all of this and I feel like I look deformed or something. I never thought 14months after my initial surgery I'd be sitting on my couch crying about my boobs ?

Hey hun, I'm sorry you're feeling so down. It really would suck to have to go through what you've been through. But you are correct, the swelling will go down and they will even out. In 5 weeks you will be feeling better and the swelling will be down. You are also still probably feeling the effects of the anaesthetic and the general down feeling after surgery. Be gentle with yourself and just focus on healing. Try to look forward to your cruise, you'll be able to chill out and relax - sending big hugs to you xo

Hi hun, , it must be hard having to go through the recovery process again just when you thought that your pats that 1 yr mark and all is well, yiu coukd just have a case of the boobie blues again and like what @sabP said you'll feel better when the swelling starts to go down, i think in another 5 wks the swelling will have settled and your boobs wont look so different and you'll also be feeling better by then, chin up its onwards and upwards from here. ?

Oh you poor thing! It must be hard with one healed boob and another boob on the healing journey. Just think in a month's time, you will be much further along and the swelling would have greatly reduced. I am thinking of you. x
