  3. soph got a reaction from iDream_of_CeeCees in Does anyone regret having their BA?
I hate that i didn't ask more questions n take my time at the consult coz i wish i had bigger boobs now but at the end of the day im glad i got them done at all. I did have the same thoughts before my BA too and trust me they wont look or feel particularly foreign to you after.
  4. soph reacted to pink butterfly in cellulite treatments??
I don't know of any reputable cellulite treatments per se. But I do know that high intensity cardio on a regular basis, clean eating and also drinking lots of water/herbal teas can really help. There is a personal trainer called Belinda Benn and she addresses the cellulite issue.
  5. soph reacted to Suki in cellulite treatments??
I've never heard one medico - an honest one anyway- say anything other than there is no treatment for cellulite. Anyone saying otherwise is peddling snake oil. Buyer beware.
  6. soph got a reaction from pink butterfly in G.A possibly making me depressed/anxious
We've all been there! Its because of all of the above plus being home alone for 2 weeks with nothing to do but think.
It wont last!! so don't make any important decisions xxx
  7. soph got a reaction from Holly in Pole dancing classes
    Hey Sophie
I would recommend trying a few classes before your BA coz you wont be able to do it for like 3mnths post op.
You'll be fine its a lot of core, arm and pec strength but trust me you build it.
Everyone catches onto it differently. Its alot of practice and perseverance to learn the tricks etc but you do get there and its so worth it.?
  8. soph reacted to donatella in 180-220cc impants
I'm all for patient choice BUT 180cc would almost be no significant change. It's important to see both sides. Yes you want a petite size but do you want an actual augment or a not? Honestly 180cc is pointless, even if you want small (which I say go for) make sure you are aware just how small the sizes you are being recommend are. Time after time people come back here unhappy because they wish they went that little bit bigger, if i can help at least one person broaden their mind (not talking large sizes here talking reality not 180cc) then I will have saved someone a lot of money. Again go petite, but maybe consider 250-300 that is in no way going to be make you large that is still a tiny implant and subtle result

I got 325cc 3months ago and going in for a revision after my consult in a few weeks. In re: to your worry about paying so much all over again- your PS will waiver his fee's so it'll only be a tiny cost. Just think of how many women pay 20k + for a BL + BA or women who keep having complications and spending much much more so just think of it that way that there's always someone who's paid way more!! Just do it gf don't spend another second being upset! You've spent your whole life wanting this surgery, probably argued with loved ones, mentally made yourself crazy with nerves, doubts, tears, spent house savings.... and all for what? Sub optimal results? NO! Pay the extra few thousands for perfect optimal results!! At least now your body will be stretched an ready for large implants, and at least now you'll know 100% what you want!! Xx
  12. soph reacted to Minnie Mouse in Finance options?
I think you should accept the generosity of an interest free loan from your parents . With the money you save on interest you could take them out to a lovely dinner and let them know how much you appreciate their love and support . What a lucky women you are to have such support both emotionally and financially .
Your parents wouldn't offer it if they couldn't afford it and if your confident you can repay it in a few months , what's the problem ?
I have offered to help my (adult) daughter out with money and she is so fiercely independent she won't accept it . While I completely understand not wanted to borrow off your parents, as a parent it gives us great pleasure to be in a position to help our children out when we can .
You will get more satisfaction paying back someone you love than a faceless cc or bank . Just think about it .?

You are better off with a low interest credit card than a personal loan these days as the personal loan interest rate is higher most of times
  14. soph reacted to Shezi in Day 5 and I feel human again!
So today is post op day 5 for me and I am finally feeling a lot better. The first few days were rough but I feel like I've turned a corner yay. The boobs are still swollen and tight but I can feel they have softened a bit which has given me some relief from the extreme tightness of the first few days lol. I had another check up today (my poor nurse worked Australia Day) and she said they are going well and definitely starting to soften a bit. She told me not to be concerned with the swelling as its a pretty traumatic and rough surgery. I haven't had to take any pain meds today and it's nice to be feeling more human again lol. My other half was a bit funny at first. He was upset because of the pain I was in and questioned whether it was worth it. I said "hell yes it was, I've waited twenty something years to have boobs" haha. He has been fantastic though the whole way through and he is very much relieved that I'm feeling better. And he loves the new boobs..bonus!! I am also enjoying discovering the 'big boobs problems' such as:
I have bumped the boobs a few times going through doors.
I go to move my arms and side boob is in the way. Lol I've never had sideboob before.
I had an itchy area on the top side of my abdomen and had to get a mirror to check it out because I couldn't see it over my boobs. That's never happened before! Hahaha
I can't wait to discover more big boob problems!! Haha
  15. soph reacted to tegs033 in Update on BA + BL w/ 610cc and 700cc
    Hello lovelies,
I haven't been on the forum in forever! Hope everyone is doing well. I had my ba and bl 9/6/15 with a lollipop lift and 610cc on my left and donut lift with 700cc on my right so about 7months post op.
I went with Dr Dona in Sydney and couldn't recommend him any more. Ill be having scar revision on one side sometime this year but other than that i had a super smooth recovery and kind of miss the anticipation of being pre op. Haha.
Hopefully looking into a tt in the next couple years. Any way just wanted to pop in and say honestly dont stress numbers. I was told by so many not to go "large" or what about more "scars" ect ect... but i absolutely love my results and so glad i made the choice to go ahead.

    Hi Guys,
I've read a few forums already on these topics but I'm look for more specific answers.
I'm 6 months post op (surgery on July 15th 2015 under the muscle @ TCI with dr lee 385cc). I was pole dancing for 2.5 years till surgery and plan to go back this term, I miss it so badly.
I'm so nervous about hurting myself as pole requires so much upper body strength and chest in particular when doing inverts and hangs.
I've gone back to gym for about 2 months now and use the assisted pull ups machine on the lightest weight I can (currently 40) with no pain so far or discomfort, pre op I was able to do 10 pull ups very easily on a normal bar. When doing push ups I can only go low midway as I start to feel a slight sharpness in my incision (I feel it in my left side only though, maybe becos my right side is stronger)
Is there ANYONE who does pole and has gone back to be able to do pull ups/inverts again without too much pain? Please share your experience!!
I've read many different forums where some surgeons say pull ups can never be done again and some that say its fine.
I miss going to the gym and being able to show off and impress people with the pulls ups I can do hahah and will be devastated if I wont be able to again..
I've just messaged a girl who poles at my studio. She got her BA Oct 2014 in Thailand and is able to do chin ups and advanced level pole tricks (she performed in a competition in June 2015, I watched her and was amazed at how strong she was again). Yet to find out whether she got over/under and her experience on easing back into chin ups/pole. I will update the response here once she replies.
I feel like this is such a long post so apologies but thanks for reading!

Has anyone fallen pregnant not long after they had their breast augmentation?
I booked all of my surgery after leaving a 6 year relationship. I was thinking that kids wouldn't be on the cards for quite a long time. Since then I have ended up in a new relationship and it seems like kids might be a little closer than I originally thought haha
My surgery is in 2 weeks time.
  20. soph reacted to rachael1981 in Getting Married 6 wks after BA
i think after 6 weeks most of pics ive seen they dont look bad at all my concern would be you cant work out in that time you are healing (not sure if you usually do or not) so that would be the only problem i would see for myself if i got them done 6 weeks before my wedding lol....
  21. soph got a reaction from Thai coconuts in New boobs, post op blues :(
Hang in there hun. Trust me they will change soooo much in the next 6 weeks.tthey do look square in appearance at 1st but then they get round. Tbh i felt the same way about my size n i did get post op blues (very common apparently) because everything u go through to not be in love with them is pretty fucking frustrating.alot of girls say theres look bigger wen they drop though .x

Thank you for everyone's replies! I actually forgot to ask him that MaisieF! Was too excited about getting them done that I thought that's something I could deal with later lol. This job I'm starting is actually a new job and so I feel bad asking for more time to start later. But I'd rather start later than say hurt myself going back early and asking for extra time off. That would look really bad. My job only requires upper body movements and only arm movements really. I'm a litle worried now after what all you ladies say about not being able to lift your arms post op for such a long time! I am just having a straight forward BA and not going huge so hopefully that's a little consolation for myself. I've also seized all chest exercises for a good 3 months now, hoping that will make the pec muslces nice and limp and easier for the implant to sit in and therefore improve recovery. I'm going to get that extra week off and pray to the boob job gods that I'm ok after 17 days!
