  1. MissNewBoobies reacted to rebeccalee in Breast Augmentation in Brisbane or the Gold Coast under $7500
    Hi Ladies,
I've had 2 consults with Dr Szalay and have booked my surgery with him for December 14. I found him so professional and friendly, he knew exactly what he was talking about and recommended the size implant that would best suit my BWD. His before and after photos are amazing! I have a friend who had her breasts done by him a few months ago and her results are beyond amazing. She also said that the twilight sedation was not a problem at all and if anything was better than general as when she woke up she was wide awake and not sick or in pain at all.
    Hope this helps xx

@MissNewBoobies I see you are in Brisbane. Dr Phil Richardson is removing my implants in Brissy. He was very supportive of my decision. He also has photos of before and after explant on his website.

How much would it be to have implant to be removed anyway that's what I would like to know, wanted them but but think it's the wrong thing

I had 10 days off work and it was enough. I had a lift as well so that was probably the biggest part of healing. Simple explant is easier to recover from
And running is SO much better. Yoga is too. I've ditched the underwires and haven't looked back Also no one seems to have noticed. One friend (male) asked me if I'd lost weight - I do look slimmer now without the extra 'padding'.

@MissNewBoobies I had my implants removed March 24th - for the same reasons as you... just 14 years after getting them (wanted them out from about 4 years into having them). I also had a breast lift at the same time as an explant. My breasts were saggy to begin with (that's why I got implants) - so after 14 years of a heavy implant on top of the muscle they were only going to be worse. The procedure, even with the lift was easy - no where near as painful as my BA.
There are lots of women on RealSelf with before and after photos of explants. The end results really depend on you individual situation eg. age; pre-implant sagging; amount of your own breast tissue; how long they are in; in they are over or under the muscle. Generally women get really good results - they look a bit deflated initially then the skin retracts and the tissue fluffs and they look like they did pre-implant. The worst results are from women with very little tissue and BA complications eg. ruptures or multiple BAs. And yes - you can always get another BA if you hate them.

I have no regrets and I'm enjoying my smaller breasts - can't wait to get back into running without the big boobies and uncomfortable bra in the way.

there's always a good reason to have them removed ! It's great your happy but there are people who haven't had the experience you have and I would think that's it's gotta be pretty bad for someone to think about having them removed ! Not anything you would just wake up and decide to do , pain factors maybe or cosmetically they don't look right maybe aswell , I know mine were excruciating and having them in was causing me a loss of income and a sex life aswell all in my first year of marriage too ? Sometimes out great experiences are not someone else's and all surgery carries risks and infavoursble outcomes . Each to there own I support girls who want them and girls who don't as I have been both and I know there's no easy answer to it it really is a personal one and need to support either one as both are life changing
  8. MissNewBoobies reacted to RealMe in I want them removed
I've had mine in for nearly 20 years, planning an explant soon (in Perth). Went from an A cup to a C, now I'm a D. I'd rather be a flat A - it's far more natural, easier to find clothes that fit properly, easier to exercise and far fewer health worries about having something foreign in me that my body attacks (capsular contraction and possible silicone shredding are just 2 possibilities). Unless you're getting a breast reconstruction for medical reasons, personally I think they're completely unnecessary and a waste of money. Getting BA purely for vanity reasons is just crazy. Have a look at the American "Real Self" site and the (growing) number of women who are opting to have their implants removed without a lift or replacement and educate yourself on what can and does go wrong with implants.

Oh no, sorry to hear. May I ask why you don't like them? WE always hear of ladies loving them on here, would like to hear another perspective... hope you are okay

Sorry to hear that you're unhappy. I have had mine replaced with a full anchor lift but not an explant. You "may" need a lift defending how much the skin has stretched out, etc.

Would you not return to the surgeon who did them. Would you consider maybe replacing with smaller implant, change profile, etc? I hope that doesn't offend you I would just hate for you to explant and then have those pre ba feelings come back.

Best of luck hun, I'm unhappy with the effects on my boobs from pregnancy and it's a horrible feeling. In the meantime could you try a minimiser bra? Hope that everything works out for you.
  11. MissNewBoobies got a reaction from Katewell in I HATE my big implants - anyone had this problem?
I had my breast augmentation 2 yrs ago almost or more, I joined this site and gained some info on the entire process and followed other girls. I started off as a 10C and had 435CC implants put in ... I am now a 10DD... I HATE how big my boobs are. I definitely put this down to 'boob greed'. Any cute lace bra that I wear doesnt look petite and pretty, to me (personally) I feel that I look skanky. (not trying to offend anyone on here). I feel top heavy, i am average height 167cm smallish build but I feel like my new assets have definitely added a seemingly larger appearance. has anyone experienced this ? I have had a quote to remove them it would be a bit over 2k to remove.. but then i am scared I will have saggage once removed and I cant afford revision surgery.. HELP?

Completely understand where you are coming from I'm really worried that I will look heavier. Rice sizers made me look heavier but the sizers in the docs office got lost in my normal clothes. I want big boobs naked but don't necessarily want them to look big at all times, just when I want to put them out there lol..its a hard choice when you don't know how they really are going to look afterwards hey? Could you wait until you could afford revision surgery & go down a few sizes? & in the mean time try and find some minimising bras to wear during the day so that you don't feel like they are overwhelming your frame? Ive read that people who feel that they have gone too big feel worse than people who have gone to small so I get that it would be interfering with your life. There is lots of info about boob greed but not much about girls who feel they went too large so getting support might be hard. Its also good to read posts like this to help people when they are researching. Have you felt like this the whole time or has something changed recently? Hope that you can come up with a solution soon

Just to clarify I wasnt saying that everyone with bigger breasts are skanky. I was just saying that personally with my body type I feel that my boobs appear extremely artificial and I dont like the feeling of being 'fake' I will look further into breast implant removal and the aftermath of the procedure re sagging etc. Thanks ladies appreciate your comments xx x

Oh I am sorry you feel that way. 10DD doesn't sound huge in fake boob land, you sound small and petite going by your height and weight. Have you recently gained weight? Do you have the propensity for upper body weight gain? I know when I put weight on I gain it around my shoulders and arms and torso..and boobs and I feel awful when I get that way.

If that is not the case and you just don't like them anymore is it because of someone or are you comparing yourself to some smaller breasted girls?

We all do this. The female body is beautiful in many different shapes and sizes and we can often want more or less of something and will never be satisfied.

If the implants are making you that unhappy go talk to your surgeon.

There are lots of naturally large breasted women out there, mother nature did not make them skanky.

    good luck

Hi, I'm really sorry you feel your final result doesn't suit your build. I get a little frustrated that I can no longer wear fitted tops and dresses because the boobs take on a matronly look due to projection rather than size, but it's nothing like what you feel about yours. I remember feeling as you did in the first few months when they were still enormous from swelling and not D&F'ing, and looked up all the girls who explanted on the real self site. As I recall, they were all very petite girls who felt at you do- that their boobs overwhelmed their bodies and their lives. Maybe look them up to see what they did/felt through the process? Personally, I never got caught up with the idea of boob greed- I have no hips to balance out the boobs so in my case less is more. Each to their own- but I like to enter a room at the same time as my boobs do!
