Mondors cords 6.5 mpo

Recommended Posts

Ok guys don'tknow if I should be worried but i have developed a Mondors cord under my right breast. I did get them at about 4 wpo at the start and they went away by themselves and were fine (they didnt bother me) but this one is very tender to toutch and a bit achy and also ach's when i lift my arms above my head which i do quite a lot in my Fitness job.

Calling my PS tomorrow but just wanted to know if i should be concerned (which i am ??)

Hey hun... that's not good, but from what I've read they do go away - warm compress, gentle massage and anti-inflammatories seem to be the general recommendation. But of course your PS will advise you as to what he thinks you should do. I hope it goes away quickly xo

Well guys heres the update on my appointment with my PS.

He gave me a through check and said that it was a little odd to develop mondors cords so far post op but that there was nothing abnormal about my breasts and that they were soft and right on track for healing nicely for the time frame ie dropping and settling he did say that they shouldn't fluff to much more and to also keep up with the massage and warm compress if needed. But Murphys law they had almost gone by the time i was due to see him so it didn't look that bad ??.

Thank you all for your kind words its nice to know we have each others backs. ?

Haha always the way! Guaranteed, if I take one of my kids to the doctor after being sick for a day or so, I would get to the dr and they would be running around wild ?

Glad everything has turned out ok for you ?
