Advice needed please

Recommended Posts

I saw Dr. Layt yesterday and he has recommended the following breast implant for me.

Mentor Textured Teardrop 375cc

He did say I could go round implants but he recommended the teardrop

I’m currently a small 12B and was looking at hopefully being a DD in the end result.

I am approx 161cm and 55kg

Anyone have the same specs and thoughts on above with any pics they could share.

May I ask what size you were before?

do you have any photos you could share?

I went from a 12b to a 12dd. I don’t really have photos and can’t take any now. I’m currently breastfeeding. I’ll definitely be seeing Dr Layt for my revision when I’ve finished having kids.

Thanks for the replies

i have my final appointment with Dr Layt before I get them done.

As stated in my first post -

my doctor has recommended me 375cc moderate Textured Teardrop mentor under muscle or 360cc Moderate nano texture Motiva Round under muscle implants

im a bit worried about movement on the teardrop implants

im currently a small 12B with my breast being 12cm as measured by my doctor.

I did the 3D imagining thing and the result of that didn’t really give me the look I was after but I’m not sure how accurate this is for the final result. It made my boobs look a little larger but I didn’t have much cleavage. They kinda sway to each side.

Both the above implants almost look the same on the 3D imagaing even tho they are different shape and cc size.

I don’t want the bolt on over size look but I do want the nice wow look with the ability to have cleavage and side boob and to wear a dress without a bra if that makes sense at all

im approx 161cm 54kg smallish frame and I’m currently a small 12b as mention before.

Teardrops look so natural. I personally think the smaller natural look is more ‘in’ now than an augmented look. I don’t like upper pole fullness anymore. With that being said my rounds still looked really natural. No one ever asked if they were fake. Dr Layt would never do the ‘bolt on’ look.

Hey hun as you know I have the exact same size Mentor teardrop implants as suggested by your Doc. I am very happy with mine and I have great side boob and projection and I can easily wear a dress without a bra, but I don't do that too often. I guess if you want more wow factor then the rounds may be better for what you want. xo

Do many people have or recommend Motiva implants? Or just stick to Mentor Textured

Are Mentor Smooth rounds a good option or stick to a textured implant ?

im pretty keen on the motiva implants, lots of surgeons use them. I do beleive they are much softer than the mentor anatomical implants. You should speak to a surgeon who does lots of both types of implants. I always believe that the surgeons who are not tied to one implant brand or type offer great advise. There are trade offs with all implants, its best to workout what factors are important for you.

Its worth noting that Mentor anatomical implants have been around for a long time and are well researched. I remember all the positive fandom around brazilian poly implants when I had my surgery many years ago and how they were amazing implants with no capsular contracture, very safe etc and now we know they are actually associated with the highest incidence of ALCL

Do you know if Motiva Implants differ from size to mentor implants? In other words for example a 360cc round Motiva implant would be the same as a 375cc Mentor round implant or are they both the same.

I had a look at the mentor size charts and got lost with it all
