I just wanted to share an update of my progress thus far. For those that don't know me I had mildly tuberous breasts that were practically non-existent (10a/aa).
My surgeon was Dr Richardson from Brisbane Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery. My goal was to have as big as possible but still a natural look so Dr R recommended 330/360cc (as the largest I could go), round, textured implants with a dual plane, under muscle incisions with lowering the natural crease and this is my before and after thus far (4 weeks post op).

I must be pretty lucky because I didn't experience massive amounts of pain. Don't get me wrong I was in a lot of pain but it just wasn't as bad as I was expecting. There have been no complications which I am ecstatic about, but there is still a high risk of double bubble. I spent 2 and a half weeks at home having my partner dote on my every need but I could honestly have gone back to work after the first week had I been able to drive. The hypersensitivity started around week 2 on my nipples and the outer sides and bottom of my breasts. It is slowly fading in some points but is still very much there in others. I still have no feeling in the bottom of my right breast, but I'm not worried. The incisions still hurt obviously but only as much as can be expected. I think the worst part about my experience so far is sleep. I used to be a stomach sleeper and had to spend the first 2 weeks sleeping upright and on my back, which was such a killer. I can now semi-comfortably sleep on my left side but still can't sleep on my right. I'm still getting morning boob, but it's almost non existent now, which is awesome.

Well that's pretty much the gist of things. Feel free to ask any questions or have a chat. All my love to everyone else still recovering.

Did your surgeon say to massage your breasts at all? I have textured implants and I didn't have to massage. When did you get your surgery done? You don't want to stuff up your surgery results if you are not meant to massage. I am now 2 1/2 years post op, and I found it took 9 to 12 months for the D & F process. My surgeon said I still had swelling at 4 months post op which I was shocked at as I thought it had gone. Try not to be impatient. The body takes time to heal.

Even though you're not in pain, maybe just take a recommended dose of pain killers at night to help you sleep sitting up. The body needs sleep to help heal and relax.
Maybe send your surgeon an email and ask for their advice.

The first couple of weeks are the hardest as your body heals itself from the op. You won't be like this forever. Perhaps try to sleep on your back propped up by heaps of pillows.

Hi,
I'm now POD 11 and going well, itchiness has slowed thank god. Arms are healing nicely and the change is amazing. Boobs are doing their thing as far as I can tell, tape etc comes off in a week. Hope you're all going well.

Looking great everyone! I must say Day 2 post op was the hardest! I'm feeling better today. My surgeon is hsppy with the result. I'm feeling tender and tight. My skin on my boobs were hot and itchy( from stretching?) I put loads of coconut oil on them and they felt instantly better! I used coconut oil through my pregnancy too! That stopped the itchiness abs stretch marks.

Hey girls, hope all of you who are recovering are doing well and are super happy. And those who are yet to come and have nerves, they will be replaced with awe very soon. I was astounded when I did a before and after collage today of pre-op and day 10.

Hey everyone, how are you all going? I had my first post-op appointment today with the nurse, she is VERY happy with how everything is going. I had dissolvable stitches so thats a bonus!! I am itchy AS HELL, but that's a combination of healing, stretching, bra etc. My boobs have started to bruise up rather "nicely" underneath (I bruise super easy), the right has dropped a little compared to the left, but still very swollen and hard. I haven't had pain killers since sunday night/monday morning, just still icing as this seems to help with the itchiness and the swelling and tightness. Arms are also going well, minimal swelling and have some really good movement.

I found the first two days knocked me for six and then I started to puck up after that. You look great and treasure looks perfect ?

I'm in my room now. Feeling nauseous but I can keep water down. Lots of pressure but no pain yet . How is everyone?

It's so exciting to see how we're all recovering! And another big week too!!
I'm now 2 weeks post op and feeling a million times better. Getting off the codeine and other meds after the first week made all the difference where I felt like I could function again. Last week it was most painful down between my cleavage, just where it seems to be the most stretched, and the lower outer sides I'd still get those sharp pains. Now though I'm stoked to say I'm hardly experiencing any pain...well when taking it easy that is! I've been sleeping upright til last night. I also bought an awesome sports bra from bras and things. Just can't wait to get my stitches out next week now!!

So today was the big day!
Went into surgery at 9am and was in the car by 11:30am.
They're very swollen at the moment but pains not as bad as I thought! Left size has pain from front to back and in my arm too. Other than that I'm feeling good!

I had my final assignment last week. We decided to go 270cc round textured moderate plus nagor implants. I'm so flat and have a narrow body. My ps can't fit anymore cc in unless we go up to high profile but I have no breast tissue and will end up looking like Victoria Beckham ? So 270 cc it is! I hope you will have less pain when you get up tomorrow morning ❤❤❤

Welcome @chantelle.93! May I ask at 10dpo have your implants started to drop and fluff?
I am only 1 week post op and mine are not moving and are still soo high (under arm pit almost) and hard!

@Turbopeach- they look big and perky under all that bandage and strapping! Soo sorry you got sick afterwards that sounded horrible. I hope you are feeling much better today! I have to say the first three days were my toughest and then day 4 was brilliant and ever since also (accept at night with morning boob).
Don't get too nervous if you don't or can't feel your nipple - apparently it can take up to 12 months! I can feel around the outside of my nipple but not in the middle which is somewhat scary but I read some medical journals last night and it is very normal!
I a now officially 1 week post op and I feel great during the day! No pain meds for 4 days now accept to sleep at night. I tried sleeping in our bed last night but I was in soo much pain every time I had a tiny movement I put myself back in the recliner at 2:30am! They are still very high, hard and I think swallen. I really really just want them to drop out of my armpits ASAP! I have posted some more photos in my album......
Did anyone's Dr inform them when the "dropping and fluffing" occurs?

I'm alive. Far out..I remember getting on the operating table and then waking up at 4.30pm. I'm bound up like a mf....er and feel like a bus is on my chest. I was crook as after the surgery. Went back to the ward and was so out of it and nauseous. I ended up going home at 9pm..had to go to a late night chemist for all my meds. Got back home and vomited everywhere..felt great afterwards! Lol
Slept ok. Boobies are just stinging. I'm heading back to the docs to make sure my nips are alive (better bloody hope they are doing ok!!). Haven't been able to have a look yet so maybe today I might get a peek. Looking and feeling very attractive..NOT.

Progress update:
Just had my first post op appointment and have been fitted with the compression bra (as well as being cleared to shower and wash my hair ?). I feel like I can't breath! But on the plus side everthing is looking fantastic and as of today I'm measuring at 34 D, which considering I couldn't even fit an A cup before, I am over the moon about! Just need to wait for this drop and fluff now.
