This was my other inspiration pic. We went with this look as felt it would suit my hair type better as well as how I wanted to style it. The only difference is we went shorter through the top.

I went with a very similar pixie cut. The above pic is fully shaved and I was worried the top getting shaved to a number 8 wouldn’t style like the photo due to my hair type. My hair is very close cropped. The sides and underneath are faded from a number 1 to a 2. Then the rest of the sides are cut short blending down and the top was cut very short with scissors. I’m excited to have a play around with it today. I have very thick hair so this sits so much nicer.

Glad to hear your surgery went well and I'm sure when the swelling goes down you'll be much happier being back to your previous size, and yes its crule how our mind plays tricks on us, i hope the recovery process is quicker and easy this time around. I too have lost quite a bit of weight like Cupcake ( i lost 15 kg) and i have noticed a bit of a change in my breasts which seem smaller however my cup size hasn't changed i feel i dont fill them out like i used to and my left breast which was my bigger breast my nipple sits a little lower than the right i don't need a lift as they are not droopy but i feel like i need a bigger implant to fill out the loose skin, I'm also still convinced that my left implant is crooked (i have anatomicals ) as the left breast has never looked quite right ( hoping to have a revision in a year or two) .
Congrats on the new boobies and you'll have to let je know how you like the Motiva implants

It's a shame it's such a process, isn't it?! If only we could try the implants out in our body like we try on a dress, it would make things much easier. I'm so sorry to hear about the CC. That's one of my worst fears! Of course he woke up when you tried to take his toy ? hahaha. Always the way. Thank you. Definitely plan on resting. I started getting horrible spasms in my right breast this morning. My pecs are freaking out.

So I had my initial BA in 2016 and had 350cc subfascial. I was initially really happy and thought they looked great. Over time I began to feel they were too big for my frame and in particular, had too much upper pole fullness. In hindsight, I just hadn't mentally adjusted to having boobs. I'd always been very tall and skinny with A-cups and now I was noticing other women checking my boobs out!
So... in 2018, I downsized to 275cc mod+. This doesn't sound like a big drop but it was pretty significant on my build. I'd dropped 1.2cm in projection, which meant they disappeared in clothes. I really looked like I hadn't had anything done! For the first month or 2, I thought this was great. However, the shape was affected a bit as I'd been larger and my nipples sat a little lower on my chest. They just looked flatter and even slightly droopy. I by no means needed a lift but they didn't look as perky as before. I thought that by downsizing I'd be able to push them up and play them up with padded bras, which I could. But they didn't look as good as I'd pictured. The shape just wasn't as good and I didn't really like how they looked in push-ups at all. ? Looking back at photos of my 350s, I realised what everybody else had tried to tell me the whole time. They were not too big at all and they looked much better in clothes and dresses than my current 275s. Ughhhh. It's amazing how much your own mind can mess with you because I honestly believed I looked huge with the 350s and that wasn't the case at all. ?
So I decided to go for another consult at the end of last year and see if I could return to my previous size. The surgeon noticed I had some pretty significant rippling in my cleavage and we decided to go below the muscle (dual plane) this time around. He's since changed to motiva implants due to the concerns surrounding certain implants and ALCL. So we decided on 375cc full profile, which is basically the same dimensions as my previous implants just slightly more volume.
I had my surgery today and everything went well. I'm now typing this because it's 3am and I can't sleep. ? I feel very tight in the chest this time around given my previous implants were overs. ? The nurse said they look a lot better than the 275s did in terms of shape and the muscle coverage has created a nicer slope. I really hope I'm happy with the overall outcome and there is no more surgery in the near future. I think my fiance' would kill me! ? I'll keep you updated.
PS. These damn drains are a pain in the butt!

Cupcake85 reacted to sabP in Breast is too low / uneven nipples / - revision?
My surgeon discussed my nipples prior to surgery as they were low. He talked about the position of the implants (anatomical) and the pockets and how he would position them so that the nipples were more central, which they are.
Your breasts seem to be positioned quite low, which seems to have 'flicked' the nipples upwards. Did your surgeon recommend a breast lift? I know you said you had nothing much to start with and nor did I, but sometimes even with smaller breasts, they may require a lift at the time of augmentation.
That being said, Dr Dona is reputable and so a revision would be worth considering. Do any bra's have the same effect as when you hold your breasts up?
Good luck with your decision and I hope it can be rectified xo

My surgeon saw me today along with his nurse and they were both happy with how I’m looking. Keep on top of taking my antibiotics and a follow up in another week. Basically because I had a spitting stitch (dissolvable) the bacteria was able to get in.

yes, that's to be expected , and for starter's , the normal regime to follow. As a normal practice you should be on it for 3 month.
My thoughts are with you , xo

PLEASE stay on top of this !!!
I have had a LOT of problems with this (as per my story) and now, can't have more 'cosmetic' surgery ,.too risky.
But the good thing was, with my surgeon we got eventually on top of it.

Cupcake85 got a reaction from MellieMoo in What to tell my 4yr old regarding BA?
My children are 6 and nearly 2. The 6 year old I was fairly honest with. I had problems with my left breast filling with fluid around the implant so had to have it drained twice before replacing my implants. I told her I had to have needles in my boob and was sore. Then I told her I was going to hospital for an operation as there was an overnight stay for me. I told her that the special doctor who is called a surgeon was going to do surgery because my boob was sore and he would make it all better. Post surgery I explained that he operated on both boobs (she saw the dressings on my crease incisions as we aren’t a modest household and my first shower she walked in to start chatting to me). I don’t know if she realises they look different or not. I did ask if she had any questions but she didn’t. Once the hypafix dressing came off she wanted to see where my incisions were (they were pretty much healed just tiny bits of scab in a couple of places). My nearly 2 year old is a real boob boy. The first time he saw me topless post revision he started pointing at my boobs babbling and I told him they were ow. He repeated the word ow then he started smiling at them.

Cupcake85 got a reaction from sabP in Sports bra recommendations
Funny I’ve just read the recommendations on sports bras. I went bra shopping and bought 2 x sexy lacy wirefree bras (I can’t believe sexy wirefree exists!). I tried on the Berlei sports bra (unsure which exact one) and it was incredible. I jumped up and down in the fitting room and my boobs didn’t go anywhere. Unfortunately it does have underwire in it and until I see my surgeon in January I’m not allowed to wear wired bras but once I’m cleared I will be buying it. I got 2 x Lorna Jane high neck bras which I wear over a crop. Fairly supportive for the treadmill, etc but looks like I’m not going to be running until mid January.
Also if you are in Perth I highly recommend Hidden Lace in Subiaco. Yes a lot of the stuff is expensive $90 bras but the ones I chose were on sale for $39.95 each. They are very good at fitting. One of the bras I tried was not sitting in between my cleavage but on top of it. My fitter straight out said it wasn’t a good fit. They also sell post surgical bras for those who are pre op. That’s where I got mine.

Please do not lift your little one if your post op instructions say not to. I have been doing nappy changes on the floor. At bath time my 6 year old carefully lifts her nearly 2 year old brother in and then out of the bath. For nap time could you get one of those kids fold out sofas? My boy is in a toddler bed as he was climbing out of his cot a few months ago and we were scared he could hurt himself. My instructions were nothing over 2kgs for 6 weeks. I’m 3.5 weeks post revision. I will be honest I have lifted my 12.5kg son when I’ve had no choice. We were alone and he climbs in and out of his car seat but he fell asleep and he was having trouble waking I tried but he was just too tired. Apart from that I’ve followed the rules. I’m not sure how old your kids are but is the older one able to help?

I know its pretty easy for us to say but if you can for the first week to 10 day's try not to lift your youngest as you risk internal damage, like what Cupcake said nappy changes on the floor, nap time on the kiddy flip out sofa and maybe your older child could help you lift your youngest in/out of the bath . Definitely pre prepare some meals ahead of time to freeze as you probably wont feel up to cooking for the first few days and if you do have to lify your little one like Sabp said squat down have them put their arms around your neck and legs around your waist hands under their bottom then stand using your legs (do not bend and scoop) . Best of luck with the surgery and hope recovery goes well

@Cupcake85 wow your new boobies look amazing for 2 wpo, Dr Connell is a very talented surgeon. I think the bikini top looks great , enough covered but enough exposed ? if you know what I mean. As for high waisted bottoms hwve you tried Big W or K Mart or even Best N Less. I wandered into Cotton on the other day and tried a bathers crop top on and pissed myself laughing as it barley covered my nipples ? ( wish I'd taken a photo it was so funny) so safe to say Cotton on is definitely not designed for fake boobies ?
