Hi there, I had a consultation with dr tim edwards who laughed at me when I asked about the drop and fluff he responded it won't happen to me because I've had children. He also charges $13,369 for just a breast augmentation and I'm now not confident with going with him as the drop and fluff happens to everyone. Who didyou ladies go with in Adelaide and whatdid yuou pay?

I already have the money saved up and I'm not sure if I really want to waitanother 3 months for surgery. I can't even take my bra off infront of my husband anymore and I don't wear anything that shows my chest because I absolutely hate my breasts now.

Hi Nina, Sorry to hear how unprofessional this guy is to even laugh at that. I've had 3 kids and like you, I feel self conscious when I undress in front of my partner. I'm having surgery with Dr James Kollias. He charges no more than $10k. He's very professional and is highly recommended by a lot of women. Dr Cooter is another good surgeon, I've never met him though..just going by reviews.

It's very important to feel 100% confident with your surgeon, so I suggest you have other consults to find the right one.

Hey hun, that is terrible!! He should not have said that to you! The drop and fluff process happens with all BAs and for him to say it wouldn't because you have had children is bullshit. I've had children, as have loads of women on this site, and we've all "dropped and fluffed" beautifully.

I can't help you with Adelaide surgeons as I am in Perth, but I see @JD* has given you a couple of options. There is also a surgeons tab on the site and you can search for surgeons there and check their reviews and photos.

Please don't go with someone that is rude and laughs at you. You may have to wait a little longer, but it will be worth it to get a good result with a considerate and reputable surgeon. I'm not sure of your situation boob-wise, but do you need a lift as well? i.e. are they very saggy or just a bit deflated after children and breastfeeding?

Take care and I hope you look for and find a better surgeon xo

No one deserves to be treated/ spoken to like that and especially since you are ultimately interviewing him to see if he is the surgeon who will be performing your BA, i agree with @JD* and @sabP maybe you could get another consult with Dr kollias i believe he is in Adelaide and i hear good things about him (like SabP I'm in Perth) so have not been with him personally but he has some good reviews on here, and yes all breast drop and fluff i just had a straight forward BA no lift and even my boobs had to drop n fluff and i breast fed two babies . Good luck with your BA journey and let us know how you go.

I'm not needing a lift, I'm just massively deflated for my breast width. My breast still have side boob and I have a 14cm width with each breast. If I wear a C cup the bra doesn't cover my width of breasts so it cuts into my side boob but if I want to be comfortable and wear a D my breast doesn't fill them at all.

Hey hun... you have awesome side and under boob there and I can see what you mean about the top being deflated and not filling a bra properly. If you can I'd go with @JD*'s suggestion of Dr Kollias, he gets great results and has a very good reputation. I know it's disheartening to have to make another appointment and see another surgeon. But you want the absolute best outcome from a top surgeon who is respectful and understands what you need. xo

I've made an appointment with dr kollias, hopefully all goes well and I can get mine done soon

It will go well, he’s very well respected and I’m sure you’ll be able to book a date soon after your consult if you’re happy to go with him.

Do let us know how it goes. When is your appt?

I had mine done with Dr Kollias Nearly 4 months ago. Love them! He did a great job and is lovely... take your questions with you though as they are better at answering them not initiating the info for you. Friend me if you want to check out my pics. I need to take a recent one though too, I’m a month behind.

He will check your breasts for lumps, measure your breasts, give you his recommendation for your anatomy then get you to try on implant sizers based on his recommendation. He’ll state whether you need round or teardrop and dual plane (under the muscle) or over the muscle.

Then he will give you a run down regarding having breast augmentation on what’s involved etc. You’ll get to stay in hospital overnight too.

Do bring a sports top to try on the implant sizers.
