Please let them go down......

I had my BA on Friday 31/7 so I'm just over 2 weeks post op.

I had 325cc HP Mentor textured rounds.

I am really not loving the size. They don't look huge in pics but they FEEL huge on my body. My skin is stretched so tight it is hurting and they seem to be getting bigger not smaller. Last week I fit a 12C and now that is far too tight. I'm so uncomfortable and just feel miserable.

Oh no, sorry to read this Lou! ? I'm getting the exact same next month, size and profile. Is the swelling still a problem at this stage? Perhaps they will settle and become smaller as you recover.

Rub in some oil to ease the tightness and reduce the likelihood of stretch marks.

hope you feel better about them soon! It takes ages for you to really feel like they're part of you, and natural.

The best thing I can say to you at this stage is that it's still very early. The breasts would still be so firm and skin and muscles so tight that they would not have settled much at all. Even trying on bras at this early stage is misleading because they won't be sitting in the cup the same way that they will even a month from now so it's too early to even see what cup size you will be. Give it some time, firstly they settle in for months but the first month is still early days. Don't focus too much on size just wait and see in a few weeks what the look is like you may feel differently about them then x

can not recommend going to the physio after enough!!! My back was killing me ? no back pain at all now!

Yep my surgery was the day before and feel the same!

Very foreign and weird and heavy due to the muscles still being so tight. Anyone else having back pain due to the chest muscles being so tight?

Hang in there it is early days yet. Don't bother to worry about getting sized yet, it is to early. Hopefully you will end up loving them. Earlier in the piece when l got mine done l had a moment where l thought "What have l done?!" I have no regrets now however. I hope they settle for you and you are feeling better about them soon.

Two weeks is like 2 hours in the healing process timeframe. Everyone seems to report different rates of recovery on here so I can only share my experience. I felt just like you do. I recall being 'patient' until week 6 post-op then panicking because all the feedback I was getting (including from the pretty useless surgeon feedback on real self) was that the swelling would've gone by week 6. All bs in retrospect. Even when I was sure the final look was achieved around 6 months, they continued to settle for months after.

They will get smaller and sit properly on your body and you'll stop being so aware they're "there" all the time. It takes months- and longer. The muscles are feeling very cranky and abused right now so that's why you feel so awful. They'll adjust!

I'm sorry to hear you're feeling like this. Can I ask, did you have much breast tissue to start with? What bra size were you? I'm not sure if this helps but I saw a few pics that you posted and I think they look great :-)

Oh no, sorry you're feeling uncomfortable. I'm curious what your stats are as well. I'm having my second consult next week and don't want to feel too big, but don't want to have boob greed either.

Thank you all for your support and advice. I think I was just having a bit of a moment yesterday and it all got a bit overwhelming...

I was a 12AA preop 12cm BW.

i think I got too caught up on trying to avoid boob greed that I went a bit better than I originally envisaged I would.....

i hope one you're all right and things will settle and all will be good :)

I felt exactly the same... Was even regretting surgery I was in so much pain and so uncomfortable.

Take anti inflammatory tablets, get numbing cream from your doctor (for your nipples) drink plenty of fluids, sleep elevated and make sure your getting up and about as it really will help

Get out of the house too I found myself becoming depressed when I was alone at home all day while my partner was at work.

It does get better, I'm 4 weeks tomorrow and I'm feeling so much better still restricted but so much better both physically and emotionally

All the best
