AmyVM 23
Hi everyone, I'm one day post op from rhinoseptoplasty with Andrew Greensmith.he also did a fascial graft from behind my ear to build up my nose. I did heaps of research leading up to my decision to use him and I can say I'm feeling way better than expected. Op was 930 and I ate a full dinner by 5 in Cabrini. I was nowhere near this well for my BA. Will post pics as I go along the recovery path but I'm so impressed. Bee 0
Thanks Amy to share your story. I have seen Greensmith for a consulation the same day as you. I am pretty sure he will be my doctor but at the moment not sure how many weeks i would need out of work in order to allow for a public appearance. Will be following your journey for sure. Glad to see and hear that you are having a relatively smooth sailing.

Do share your experience / journey with green Smith Thanks Cosmetic, Finally got released from hospital today, surgery was fine and Andrew was very supportive, had to stay two nights at the hospital since I wasn't feeling good, I had a graft taken out of my rib, and the operation took around 4 hours, but feeling fine now. My primary rhino was close to four hours as well without rib graft.. it was a lil complicated than expected apparently.. I have questions on the rib graft if you don't mind me asking ? yes it is, I was told it would take up to a year for the swell to go away sure, go for it,

Stupid question but id there know a big scar where he made in incision? Did you feel major pain post surgery? Pre-op was there anything special you needed to do relating to rib graft? Can you feel something missing? I had rib grafting. I can't feel anything weird at all. They only take a few cm worth.

Did you feel major pain post surgery? Pre-op was there anything special you needed to do relating to rib graft? Can you feel something missing? I guess so, that was the plan after all, I don't think he took anything else out, I'm gonna meet him next week, will ask to make sure! the incision is about 3 cm long with 45 degrees angle, and I can clearly see the scar in the mirror even after 5 weeks, unlike the incision on my nose, I have to say, the major pain in had post op was in my chest where the cartilage was taken out, the worst was when I had to sneeze, a very sharp pain that would go away in a few sec after, it still hurts a little, even now, but not as bad as a few weeks ago. And I definitely don't feel anything is missing, nothing unusual. There was a big swell where the incision was made the first two weeks, it is almost gone now. I forgot to add, I didn't need to do anything special pre op related rib graft. Hope it helps
