When did yours drop?

Recommended Posts

Yup totally normal, my left boob was always the stubborn one and now at 6 mpo they look like they have finally evened out.

For me the fluff happned first i grew from a full B sml C 1 wpo to a D then a DD and now sitting at a 12 E, I'm liking the size right now and so is hubby ?. The drop started at around the 4 month mark for me, my boobs were so uneven and slightly different shapes from each other early on but now they look pretty much even .

Give it a couple more months and i bet yours even out too. ?

I am very similar to @Wanting boobs except my right has been the stubborn one!! The fluff also started first, a C by week 2 and a DD by week 6. I am now 5 months post-op and the drop is finally seeming to get it together, my right has caught up and the shape has improved and they look more similar than different at this stage - so the message is: don't worry, it'll all work out in the end :):)

Ok, so I am freaking out because 6 DPO I feel like I’m looking smaller?? Mine are round silicone unders. Amid my brain just adapting? Or will they drop and look larger as time goes?

Hey @Zoey23 don't worry - what's happening at the moment is that the swelling from surgery is starting to go down and the girls may then look a bit smaller. Having unders means the muscle is holding them back, once the muscle relaxes and releases the D & F process will start and they will look and be bigger. Hang in there and try not to freak out - it's really hard being patient, but they have a lot of changes to go through over the next weeks. xo

I'm 18dpo and mine are definitely smaller than the days immediately following surgery.

Im trying to be patient as everyone says in the coming weeks they will get bigger! Fingers crossed!

Trust me @Zoey23 and @Ss84 it's like what @sabP said it will be the swelling that is starting to subside so they will look smaller, you still need to fluff and drop. Let me explain it in lamens terms.

Think of your implant as a water baloon and your hand sa your chest muscle in the beginning the chest muscle is very tight and its been attached to your chest wall and hac been cut into to release part of it to insert a foreign object like with any injury the area swells restricting movement so this means your muscle is compressing (flattening the implant ) over the next few weeks your tissue swelling starts to subside and your muscles and tissues start to relax and stretch allowing the implant to regain its original size IE: fluff then as all this is happening your implant will eventually drop into the pocket your surgeon created IE: drop so yes over the coming weeks you will notice many changes and not at the same time either one may take longer than the other.

Try to be patient i know its hard it is for all of us, trust the process it's a marathon not a race ?.

Hope this has hepled explain it better for you . Please keep us updated on your recovery's

Thanks hun for explaining, it does completely make sense however, at my po op appt last week the nurse said I could expect to see a slight DECREASE in size so that's why I'm not feeling optimistic.

@Ss84Your nurse is correct, you will get a minor decrease in size as the swelling goes down. In my experience, the drop and fluffing process doesn't automatically mean you'll get a significant size increase, especially if you haven't gone for an overly large implant size in the first place, hope this helps x

Unfortunately I opted for a conservative size 375cc.... I'm not sure what I expected of this and I guess I was so unrealistic about my outcome. I was scared of looking too big as I'm very petite with minimal curves, I know realise larger implants can still look completely natural! I definitely regret my decision with size!

I am very happy with shape at this point though, so at least that's something ?

@Ss84 I was the same, no curves and I'm a small frame, I have 620cc (submuscular placement) and they still look natural...without wearing a good push up bra they hardly look that big !! They kind of disappear under my work uniform without a good padded bra on, people don't even know I've got implants ☹️

I'm upsizing again later in the year though.

Glad you're happy with the shape.

At least now you know you can go quite a bit bigger and still end up with a completely natural result ?

They are always bigger straight after surgery because they were so swollen so now the swelling has gone down they will look smaller. My surgeon said that’s most of his patients biggest let down because they get used to how big they are with swelling
