  1. I am posting this on behalf of my sister who underwent her first breast augmentation 3 weeks ago with a Cosmetic Surgeon in Sydney. Initially she was booked in for Friday afternoon, she was left waiting for 4.5 hours for her surgery, only to be told at 7:30pm that it wouldn't be happening that day and she would have to come back the next week. Mentally and physically this was really hard on my sister as you could imagine. The following Tuesday she went in for surgery and came out thinking everything was fine apart from the pain. But she noticed that the card she received for her Mentor implants was for right and left - 425cc, when it had been agreed prior to surgery that she had to have 425cc on her right breast and 350cc on her left. This is due to a large difference in the size of her original breasts. When she asked the Surgeon, nurses and hospital about what was put in, no one seemed to be able to tell her what was put in. She is completely beside herself because she believes that the wrong implants have been used and the fact that her surgeon has stuffed her around so much, now not even knowing what he has put in her body. He has called her today offering to open her back up to check what size implants have been put in, "to help ease her worry about it". I myself have had breast surgery twice and have never heard of anything like this happening. Has anyone heard of this happening before and what should she do now? She doesn't trust this doctor going near her again and I feel its a case of medical negligence. Thank you girls Emily
  2. Hi girls, I'm now 9 months post op after having my revision with Dr Revis. I went from having 395cc Brazilians to 800cc smooth mentors. So quite a huge jump but much needed to fill my large gap between my boobs. They are super soft and natural looking, but the left one has dropped more than the right. It is still sitting kinda higher on my chest. Do you think after 9 months what I see is the final result? Or will I continue to see the right side drop over the next few months. I've heard the larger implants can take longer to drop. Thank you ladies xx
  3. Hi Girls, I am now 1 month post op and have 800cc HP mentor implants under the muscle. They are still sitting quite high on my chest. Im hoping they will drop a lot more and start filling out the bottom of my breast. Do the larger implants take longer to drop? I have been massaging everyday and have noticed some difference but maybe im just being impatient.
  4. So I have returned from having my breast revision done 3 weeks ago by Dr. Revis over in the US. Let me tell you, he did the most AMAZING job, completely exceeded my expectations. After going to consults with 4 other PS in Sydney I still didn't feel 100% with any of them. I nearly booked in with Steven Liew but at the last minute, looked into Dr. Revis. I put the idea to my partner and once he was on board that was it. I emailed Dr. Revis a long email with photos about my complications, fears and what I'd ultimately like to acheive. He responded within a few hours, and it was so extensive and detailed. I was so so impressed, even though he was so far away, I thought he was better than any surgeon here in Sydney. He quoted me $10750, which was around $14000 AUD. This included everything, so doctors fee, hospital, garment, anesthetist etc. He did a bilateral capsulectomy, internal bra with permanent sutures, implant exchange from 375cc furry Brazilians to 800cc Mentor smooth high profile silicone and a donut mastopexy. So a lot of work, but as soon as I met him I knew he was the doctor for me. All I wanted since the moment I had my first breast augmentation all those years ago was nice cleavage. I have always been told that I would never be able to have cleavage due to me having a very wide gap, but Dr Revis said he could give me to 1 finger gap I wanted. And he did!! I still can't believe it. We went on holiday to LA, Las Vegas then finally ended the trip in Miami where I had the surgery. Recovery was amazing as I was sitting poolside in the sun. I had my pre op on the Thursday, surgery on Friday then post op the following Tuesday. After the post op we flew straight back to Sydney. Once your finished surgery you are given his mobile to call anytime of day. You can also email him and he is guaranteed to respond within 1 hour (not even a joke). He is a man who lives and breathes his job. The pain wasn't as bad compared to my first augmentation, even with the internal bra. I have started massage and using the scar treatment. He has made them look perfect and there will be hardly any scarring. I cannot stop looking at them. I know alot of the girls on here talk about going to see him, and I have to tell you... It's 110% worth it. I finally have the boobies I have always wanted.

    Wide gap

@TheFox do you know if I will lose a lot of tissue as well when they remove the capsules?

    Wide gap

@Wanting boobs my surgeon has suggesting fat grafting actually which I didn't even know he offered. I actually don't even remember when they started going hard. Ive had two pregnancies and both caused mastitis so I wonder if that's the reason why. It wasn't until I felt my friends (first time I'd ever felt fake boobies) that I realised "wait a minute why do mine feel like rocks".. I couldn't stop squeezing my friends haha. My surgeon is suggesting 550-625cc round implant in a dual place type 3 placement. Ive heard subfascial is good to achieve cleavage so also going to ask about that

    Wide gap

Hi ladies I know I've posted a lot on here lately, but I have such anxiety about going through revision. I'm so scared I'm going to wake up unhappy all over again. I have posted a photo of my capsular contracture silimed 395cc implants right now. As you can see I have a very wide gap. I have these 1 finger space dream boobs in my head and I think that's whats getting to me. Did anyone have a gap like mine and have it made smaller?
  9. At the moment Ive got bilateral CC so I cant wait to have soft boobies. How do I find the video of that lady on real self?
  10. Im looking at getting the motiva ergonomix implants full range 550cc size I was wondering if any ladies on here have these implants and if they are really soft? If not, which implants do you have and how soft and squishy are they?
  11. I sent my photos to Dr Tavakoli and he got back to me with an astronomical quote that I can't really justify handing over. For my first consult with Dr Liew he spent an hour with me, after that I was still unsure and he had a second hour consult with me free of charge. I even emailed him my concerns and he got back to me whilst he was on holidays. He is very caring and understanding. I'm having revision so I'm having a hard time deciding which surgeon to go with because I'm so nervous.
  12. I am interested to know about this as well. I have had my consult with him for my breast revision. Tossing up between him and Tavakoli.
  13. I recently have had two consults with 2 different surgeons. Dr Steven Liew and Dr Steve Merten. Both had completely different ideas about what I should do with my revision. I have a very wide gap (5-6 fingers) and bilateral capsular contracture. Dr Liew has suggesting removing the capsule, suturing the side of my implant pocket to create cleavage and also a bit of fat grafting. Using a 550cc round motiva full implant dual plane to fill the pocket up. Dr Merten suggested removing capsule and replacing with 500cc motiva round implant dual plane and mastopexy. anda mastopexy. After all of this information I am very very confused. Has anyone been in this situation or have any ideas on how I can decide on which surgeon would be better to go with ? Giving me a lot of anxiety PS. Photo is taken after my initial BA in 2011. Which I was never happy with
