Hello, I see alot of people asking about Dr William Mooney both here and abroad. I have booked in my surgery with Dr Mooney and the procedure will take place in two weeks. I plan on updating this thread with my experiences and results in an effort to help other people make a more informed decision. Bit of background; I am a male who lives in Sydney. I initially saw Dr William Mooney in 2014 (two years ago!) at his Bondi clinic. Bit of a mission to find as the Westfield is confusing but once inside greeted by friendly staff and a very nice view of the city. Dr Mooney is a lovely man- very friendly, the initial consultation was a few hundred dollars which included a range of breathing tests, a camera up the nostrils and a discussion about what my expectations were. I walked out of the clinic with a USB of the imaging we created together and a quote for the surgery. Two years went by. LOL.-- why? work, life, me thinking it was just a phase i'd get over... Fast forward two years; August 2016. I went in and saw dr mooney and booked the surgery. I decided to do it and not hesitate, wish I booked it in two years ago! So its all confirmed and paid for. Following procedures; - Rhinoplasty -Septoplasty and a few other items to help me breathe better. The outcome of my operation is both medical and cosmetic- I had a childhood injury which wonked my nose a bit, and I find it difficult to breathe there is always one blocked nostril. I had my 'pre-op' appointment today (two weeks until surgery) with one of the nurses. Went over the pre and post-operative pack which includes a range of prescriptions, nasal sprays and vitamins- some of which I have to start taking one week before surgery. The nurse outlined all the Do's and Don'ts leading upto and after the surgery and was given all the instructions on paper so I don't forget. There is also an after hours mobile number that I can call if i have questions or concerns after the surgery. Also saw Dr Mooney who answered any final questions or concerns. My next post will be from the hospital in two weeks! I'm going to St Lukes Care at Potts Point. A nice private hospital and is one of my health funds 'Members First' hospital- so better cover.

Hi everyone Just seeking feedback on Pamela Noon (who runs Australian Cosmetic Surgery clinics in Melbourne, Southport and Bondi.) People keep saying she's got a bad history, but I can't find any recent reviews. Any dealt DIRECT? Your help would be most appreciated!

Okay, I recently went to the tci instagram that i follow and saw a woman with saggy breasts who received implants. My breast are somewhat similar but i was denied at both bondi and parra. any women out there who actually went into the tci centre for an assessment? I'm thinking of flying from perth to parra or bondi sometime. I want to see whether i can at tci, if not i'm thinking thailand as it's around 8,000 for both implants and a lift.

Hey, So I going originally booked my BA with TCI. I then cancelled after reading many reviews and articles, I also found a plastic surgeon closer to home as I live in Melbourne. I just wanted to say that I read a lot of bad reviews on TCI but from a customer service point of view, for me they were fantastic in that aspect. They were great answering all of my million questions and were very reassuring. Even though they rightfully could of withheld my deposit, as soon as I explained why I was cancelling there was no issue. The lovely lady responded promptly, apologised for the negative reviews and gave me my refund. I can't speak for them on behalf of surgeries etc but they were really great with me for the brief moment I had with them. Having my surgery in 57 days at Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery and I CANNOT WAIT!!! Im feeling so comfortable and confident about my surgeon choice and I am literally just counting down the days! xo

Hey girls, I have my BA booked for December with dr lee from tci, just wanted to hear some of your stories? And what placement and if any of you's had a lowered incision? Or if anyone was more complicated? Thank you's so excited!!

The day has finally come! Surgery is tomorrow admission is at 1pm. I was really hoping for a morning surgery so I didn't have time to think to much before going in but unfortunately the times cannot be changed! Looking forward to it!!

Hi girls, I am wondering if anyone has dealt with Dr Dash from TCI Bondi I'm booked in Mid June to get my BA. I would like to know your personal experience. Also I have a few questions as I'm getting nervous closer to date. How was the day's following surgery? Also I'm not from Sydney so any help in regards of what's there to do for myself and hubby.. how to get around transport wise and good accommodation that's not the usual meriton or quest..I would be so grateful. Any tips as well is always welcome

OMG, I just drove past the new TCI at Bondi junction on my way to westfields, it looks amazing!! I didn't know what it was to start with - they have the full corner of the building, its huge! And then I saw the signage and the price!! I called the number and they said they are taking bookings from June, has anyone booked yet? I'm jealous!! x
