Hey Ladies,

Did anyone receive 3D imaging of before and after photos with different sized implants and were disappointed with the pictures but thought your new breasts looked different to the 3D image anyway? Ive receied mine and i think they look bloody aweful!! and Im wondering if the images are even accurate...

Also after explaining how much i want a natural look and dont want massive boobs that look bolted on, the surgeon has suggest 230/240cc to me, does this sound tiny to you? Im worried i havent explained myself properly. They did say it depends what you have before but i am only a small B to start with

Anyway let me know what you think

Hey @Gem Newbie I didn't have the Vectra, just the sizers and even then it's not an accurate representation. I think you may have been saying you want natural looking breasts and your surgeon has heard that you want "small" 230-240CC are small implants. That being however, depends on your overall body composition/anatomy, i.e. height/weight and your BWD. Do you have your measurements? That determines what size range is suitable for your body and what you are aiming to achieve.

You can have "natural" looking (non-bolt on) breasts with bigger implants - I have 375CC and they are perfect for me. Feel free to friend request so you can see my gallery pics and progress over the last few months since surgery

Try rice sizers, my 2 month post op results are pretty close to my home made sizers.

Hey Gem... got your request and have accepted I exercise every day, mostly running and swimming and some gym workouts. Some surgeons will say not to do certain exercises ever and some request you modify. I know @pink butterfly and @Wanting boobs both work out a lot and WB is a personal trainer as well, so they may be able to share more information with you. We all have anatomical implants.

If you can call and ask them what your BWD is that will help in terms of what maximum size of an implant will fit. I am a bit taller and heavier than you and I have 375cc, my BWD was 14L and 13.5R

I didn't make rice sizers, but lots of girls do - they are home made sizers that you can put into a crop top to give you an idea of size. My surgeon had sizers in his office that I tried on. Google rice sizers and that should explain how to make them at home

aww that makes me feel so much better about exercising! I went there wanting anatomical implants and they kept talking about them rotating, i feel like they prefer to do round implants. Do you know if its a big risk of them rotating at all?

I called them today to ask for my BWD and they said they measure BW and it was 14.5cm and that i was the same measurement on both sides. My surgeon gave me implants to put in in her office to try out, anatomical and round but i found it hard to tell as they just stick out like bolt ons.

After speaking with them today im going in for another appointment next wednesday to have more of a chat about what im wanting so im think this will help big time!

Hi @Gem Newbie

I had the Vectra 3D imiging and while i didn't hate my photo i didnt love them either, my ps said it was just a tool to help give you an idea of what your post op results may look like, im 6 mpo now and i think my results are better than my photo's. Yes @sabP is correct i am a personal trainer and i teach aerobic classes i also have anatomical (teardrop) implants 440cc moder height high profile in a dual plane pocket and so far so good (no problems ) . I do however stay away from most chest workouts as my ps said that over a peirod of time it can push the implants out towards your arm pits, i teach 3 Pump classes a week and only go very light in the chest track and do push ups with knees under my hips i dont do dips as that will activate the upper chest where the implant sits . I took 8 weeks of from teaching but went back to the gym at 3 wpo and did just cardio (bike & walking ) and light leg weights only till about 6 weeks when i was allowed to start to incorporate some upper body weights. If you follow your ps pist op rules and your ps has created the pocket to exactly fit the shape of the anatomical implant then risk of rotation is minimal. I will send you a picture of my 3D image and my 6 mpo as well so you can compare.

Hey Hun,

I don't have anatomicals, I have smooth rounds with a bwd of 13cm and I chose 375cc mod +. I am similiar stats to you, 160cm & 52kg. Ideally you would want to be looking at an implant that is either 1cm either side of your bwd. I think that perhaps 230/240 might be a little small if your bwd is 14cm? I don't know what brand implant your ps uses but I know mentor textured anatomicals around that size have a width of 10-11.5cm (dependent on profile you choose) which would create that larger gap in the middle and to avoid that you would need to increase the size of your implant.

Have you booked your surgery or are you just in the process of looking around? If you haven't booked in I would perhaps make an appt with another surgeon to hear their recommendations or go back to your ps for another consult to go through your concerns. Just remember that you can still get a natural result from a larger implant.

As for exercises, I know in the recovery period you are to avoid certain exercises like push ups, plank style exercises after this some surgeons like you to modify and others advise you can continue. You just need to listen to your body.

I am only in the early stages post op (1 week actually) and I know it's a roller coaster of emotions!

Good luck!

Hey!

Smooth Round implants are what ive been quoted too. My surgeon used Allegan brand.

Did your surgeon tell you about the 1cm either side of your BWD? Ive pre booked my surgery date for 14th June but havent paid a deposit yet as im going in for a second consult with my PS on wednesday coming to go through all my concerns. Im really comfortable with my surgeon, it felt right when i was there, but is that how you choose your PS? ive no idea.

Ive considered going bigger but i dont want the outcome to look like bolt ons or too big on my chest . Im also wanting a natural size for my size body too, its sooooo hard!!!

Do you have any images of yours your happy to share? Here is one of the photos i sent my surgeon of the size i liked from a gallery i found and she was 295cc i think but looking at her down the line hers look way bigger now!

Yes my surgeon told me about the 1cm rule and I've read quite a few time whilst researching.

I think sizers are so confusing, when I was deciding what size to choose 375cc went such a long way on some people and then looked tiny on others. I stated that I wanted to look natural and hence the reason of ended up with mod +. When looking at goal pics you need to find someone who has the same height, weight, shape and cc's that your after.

I would definitely go back and discuss all your concerns with your surgeon, you want to be completely informed and make the extra money your spending worth it. Are your seeing your original ps or have you chosen someone different? I will try post the link to the reference regarding bwd and you could possibly mention that also. I think by choosing an implant that is much narrower than your bwd then you open yourself up to potentially having a large gap between your boobs and no cleverage.

Here is a pic of me 5 dpo. So far I'm happy with the shape but as I said I would of loved them to be bigger and definitely have more projection. My surgeon has only done what I've asked, but I feel I didn't make myself intirely clear with him ?

Also, the pic you posted looks like she might have 295cc however her profile might be different? You need to make sure all these variables are the same or you risk not having the outcome your after.

Hey @Ss84 - sorry to jump in here, but I wanted to say your new girls look fabulous and you are only 5 days post op!! You have so many changes coming ahead in the next weeks and months. Once the muscle releases they will start to drop and fluff and the size will be completely different. I think I mentioned earlier I was measured at a C cup at two weeks post-op (started as an AA pre-op); then at 6 weeks I was measuring a DD, I am now nearly 5 months and I've been measuring a 12E cup, so I've gotten "bigger" again as the D & F process continues. It does take longer for anatomical under the muscle to D & F. So what I'm trying to say here is be patient and when they start to D & F you will be amazed at the difference xo
