Kaleidoscope_Eyes reacted to I HaveBoobs in Take 3
Hi @Kaleidoscope_Eyes I'm glad to hear your recovery is going well and wow time travles fast, you'd be around 7 wpo now, bet it feels great to wear pretty dresses again i too was not much of a dress person before boobs as i have no waist 😂 but boobs helped balance out my silhouette ,.
Have you tried David Jones for small band bras i recently lost 15 kg and wear an 8 to 10 in bras also, i found some nice bras at Honey Bridette but they are a little on the costly side so wait till they have a sale . Hope all is well with you and stay safe 😊

Kaleidoscope_Eyes reacted to I HaveBoobs in Will boobs make me look bigger?
Hi and welcome, i am 5'7 and was 72 kg (34A) when i got my boobs and i am also quite Athelitecly built i just wanted to bakance out my proportions and was worried that boobs would make me look matronly but that was not the case, i have 440cc hp anatomical implants which balanced me out nicly the pic of me in the blue set is me at 70 kg and the pic of me in the crop top is after loosing 12 kg , not much changed in the boob department after the weight loss but having a smaller waist dose make them look a bit bigger but in a good way lol😅

Kaleidoscope_Eyes got a reaction from DD dreaming in Dr Dona!!!
Hey! I haven't been to Dr Donna but I know that a number of girls on here have and he isn't afraid to go large if that's the look you're after! I've only heard good things about him but unfortunately, can't speak from experience! His before and afters look great and he's also reasonably priced. I can't see why he wouldn't want to work with interstate patients! It's just a matter of you getting yourself there and staying long enough for follow-up. I don't know if he'd require you to come back at 5 or 6 weeks? Maybe that's something one of the other girls can help you with. All the best!

Kaleidoscope_Eyes got a reaction from Kit in Sports bras online
Thanks for your reply Kit! I actually decided to measure myself with an online calculator (68cm underbust and 89cm bust), which makes me a 10D. I actually found that the bombshell website had a chart for different international bra sizes and what size should fit. According to that, a small should fit in their style. Very helpful!

Hi @Kaleidoscope_Eyes hope you recovery is going well and you are happy with your outcome.
It sounds like you have a similar build to me with a very small underbust measurement. I found sports bra shopping tricky too with getting the right fit and came across this Calvin Klein one which fits nice and snug all over. Though I did find I had to size up to a Medium for this particular one.

Kaleidoscope_Eyes got a reaction from I HaveBoobs in Take 3
Thanks guys. I'm surprisingly not in as much pain as I thought I would be going under the muscle. The first night wasn't fun and I was having horrible muscle spasms! I got the GP to prescribe some diazepam to help with that and it's made a difference. Also, I've been sleeping so much because of the endone, which is a good thing. I figure the more I sleep, the better and quicker I heal so no complaints there! I'll keep you updated. I can't wait to go bra shopping and dress shopping again. I really miss how they looked in dresses the first time around.
@I HaveBoobs Sorry to hear you're wanting a revision! But congrats on the weight loss. That's awesome

So I had my initial BA in 2016 and had 350cc subfascial. I was initially really happy and thought they looked great. Over time I began to feel they were too big for my frame and in particular, had too much upper pole fullness. In hindsight, I just hadn't mentally adjusted to having boobs. I'd always been very tall and skinny with A-cups and now I was noticing other women checking my boobs out!
So... in 2018, I downsized to 275cc mod+. This doesn't sound like a big drop but it was pretty significant on my build. I'd dropped 1.2cm in projection, which meant they disappeared in clothes. I really looked like I hadn't had anything done! For the first month or 2, I thought this was great. However, the shape was affected a bit as I'd been larger and my nipples sat a little lower on my chest. They just looked flatter and even slightly droopy. I by no means needed a lift but they didn't look as perky as before. I thought that by downsizing I'd be able to push them up and play them up with padded bras, which I could. But they didn't look as good as I'd pictured. The shape just wasn't as good and I didn't really like how they looked in push-ups at all. ? Looking back at photos of my 350s, I realised what everybody else had tried to tell me the whole time. They were not too big at all and they looked much better in clothes and dresses than my current 275s. Ughhhh. It's amazing how much your own mind can mess with you because I honestly believed I looked huge with the 350s and that wasn't the case at all. ?
So I decided to go for another consult at the end of last year and see if I could return to my previous size. The surgeon noticed I had some pretty significant rippling in my cleavage and we decided to go below the muscle (dual plane) this time around. He's since changed to motiva implants due to the concerns surrounding certain implants and ALCL. So we decided on 375cc full profile, which is basically the same dimensions as my previous implants just slightly more volume.
I had my surgery today and everything went well. I'm now typing this because it's 3am and I can't sleep. ? I feel very tight in the chest this time around given my previous implants were overs. ? The nurse said they look a lot better than the 275s did in terms of shape and the muscle coverage has created a nicer slope. I really hope I'm happy with the overall outcome and there is no more surgery in the near future. I think my fiance' would kill me! ? I'll keep you updated.
PS. These damn drains are a pain in the butt!

Glad to hear your surgery went well and I'm sure when the swelling goes down you'll be much happier being back to your previous size, and yes its crule how our mind plays tricks on us, i hope the recovery process is quicker and easy this time around. I too have lost quite a bit of weight like Cupcake ( i lost 15 kg) and i have noticed a bit of a change in my breasts which seem smaller however my cup size hasn't changed i feel i dont fill them out like i used to and my left breast which was my bigger breast my nipple sits a little lower than the right i don't need a lift as they are not droopy but i feel like i need a bigger implant to fill out the loose skin, I'm also still convinced that my left implant is crooked (i have anatomicals ) as the left breast has never looked quite right ( hoping to have a revision in a year or two) .
Congrats on the new boobies and you'll have to let je know how you like the Motiva implants

It's a shame it's such a process, isn't it?! If only we could try the implants out in our body like we try on a dress, it would make things much easier. I'm so sorry to hear about the CC. That's one of my worst fears! Of course he woke up when you tried to take his toy ? hahaha. Always the way. Thank you. Definitely plan on resting. I started getting horrible spasms in my right breast this morning. My pecs are freaking out.

Kaleidoscope_Eyes got a reaction from margaretriver in My BA Experience - Dr Cooter
I'd been researching breast augmentation for 8 months prior to booking surgery with Dr Cooter. I've always been very slim with not much to fill out a bikini. I was actually ok with having small boobs and never thought in a million years I'd have a boob job. I'm 28 years old so I'd gotten used to them and even quite liked the lean, athletic look I had. I just always wished I filled out dresses and clothes better and looked more womanly. I hadn't researched breast augmentation much in the past and had the impression that boob jobsalways looked very obvious and fake (think Pamela Anderson, Victoria Beckham). I always thought it was much better to be small than have that obviously augmented look! Then my sister had her boobs done a couple of years ago and I was amazed at how natural they looked and how nicely they suited her frame.
I started researching and looking at before and after photos and was absolutely convinced that I wanted this done for myself. I spent months going back and forwards changing my mind about surgeons, placement, round vs shaped, etc. It's all very confusing and so hard to know what will complement your frame! Implants look completely different on different people. I saw 2 well-respected surgeons and they had slightly different opinions in terms of size. It was actually quite difficult to choose between the 2 but one impressed me more than the other! He was much more thorough in his initial consult and I felt like his after photos were more in line with the look I was trying to achieve. However, both of these surgeons had a great reputation and I'm sure I would've been happy with the outcome either way.
Both Dr Kollias and Dr Cooter recommended round implants with subfascial placement and that's what I decided to go with. I didn't want the lateral displacement that can occur with dual plane or unders and as my boobs have a tendency to point outwards, I was able to get them closer together by going subfascial. I was very afraid of going too big but at the same time didn't want to be disappointed and regret going too small. In the end, after much deliberation, I left the decisions on placement, size and profile up to my surgeon. Dr Cooter decided on the implant size while in the OR. He actually ordered in 6 different implants for me (in both mod+ and high profile) and selected the best fit on the day using a temporary sizer. He ended up using 350cc HP Mentor and I'm ecstatic with the results. I cannot fault anything about the process. The size is perfect for my body. I look full but not overdone. They look big naked and in light, tight-fitting tops but still fairly conservative in everyday clothes (unless I play them up with a push-up bra!). I've healed remarkably well. I'm only 3 weeks post op now and I have no pain. I was able to sleep on my back from the second night. I have no regrets at all. I'm sure there are still plenty of changes to come but they are already looking great and I know they are only going to get better! I thought I'd share my full story here as I found this website so useful when doing my research.

Kaleidoscope_Eyes got a reaction from I HaveBoobs in Bruising and possible regret after lip fillers?
They are looking a lot better after a week. Still a little more than I would like but I've read that some people feel it takes 2 weeks for them to look good. The bruising has gone now so that makes a big difference!

Kaleidoscope_Eyes reacted to Sheba in Bruising and possible regret after lip fillers?
I got 1ml of filler around four weeks ago. I got some bruising and could feel some small lumps in my lips too. I brought a small ice pack with me to my appointment and applied it on the way home and on and off afterwards for the next couple of hours. The swelling was so much less than the first time I ever tried fillers! So that’s a tip I would recommend. A majority of my swelling went down over the first two weeks. The bruising went in a few days. Arnica cream is really good for helping to get rid of bruising too.
Also, I don not feel any of the lumps that were there earlier.
It takes at least a few days if you’ve got a lot of swelling.

Kaleidoscope_Eyes got a reaction from I HaveBoobs in Bruising and possible regret after lip fillers?
It didn't hurt as much as I expected! I think my nurse did a really good job of numbing me beforehand. She put the numbing cream on a good 10-15 minutes before she injected. She did my anti-wrinkle stuff first while the numbing cream worked it's magic. The initial prick was a little painful but not too bad at all, no worse than the dysport/botox. It's more just a strange feeling coz you can feel something is going into your lip and it feels tight. I think if the numbing cream hadn't had time to work properly it might be pretty painful though!

Kaleidoscope_Eyes got a reaction from pink butterfly in Sooooo.... Revision.... Again
You totally have a point and I agree. I've decided not to rush into anything. I'm not unhappy with the 275's. I do actually think they look great. And you're right. Trying to be perfect is impossible. I guess I am a bit of a perfectionist and having no control over something like this is hard! It's not like you can spend a few days trying out all the different sizes and shapes in your body until you find what you like best and then go ahead with the surgery. Now that I've started work I'm a lot busier and have a lot less time to criticise myself in front of the mirror so that's probably a good thing. I think I'm just gonna sit on it for now. x

Kaleidoscope_Eyes got a reaction from I HaveBoobs in Health Insurance
I'm actually really happy with my downsize but every now and then I miss my bigger implants. I'd say 90% of the time I'm happy. I don't know if I'd actually bother with a revision to increase the size again, especially seeing as I felt 'top heavy' with the 350's. I wish I could just swap between the 2 sizes when the occasion called for it haha. But I am looking into getting private health cover and I figure a future surgery is a possibility so want to get myself the best cover!

Kaleidoscope_Eyes got a reaction from I HaveBoobs in Revision and smaller implants -advice please
I completely agree @TheFox I looked so much thinner before I had implants and even downsizing has made me appear a lot slimmer again. And yes, I know what you mean about them making you look healthier and less skeletal. You can be the exact same weight with bones sticking out but if you have some boobs on you, people will say you look great. Take away the boobs and people go 'omg, you're sick!'
