I had mine done with Dr Kollias Nearly 4 months ago. Love them! He did a great job and is lovely... take your questions with you though as they are better at answering them not initiating the info for you. Friend me if you want to check out my pics. I need to take a recent one though too, I’m a month behind.

lol how annoying to wake up with a belly after all that! My hunger and thirst tolerance is low so I will struggle! Happened when I got my wisdom teeth out and it was so hard to not think about water lol no matter how much I distracted myself it was all I thought about! But this forum is great to have more details of some things that will most likely happen so we know what to expect ?

KLJ got a reaction from I HaveBoobs in Survey for girls with anatomicals.
I’m almost 3 mpo and mine have started to soften the last 1-2 weeks, still quite firm when I lay on my back which is weird but reading these comments gives me hope. It took til about 2mpo before I started liking them and them feel more like me, and to be able to move my arms around without pulling feelings. Definately looking forward to some more squash now. Although hubby says they’re the softest fake boobs he’s felts I guess they’re ok ?

Haha omg I was STARVING!! Ordered EVERYTHING on the menu for dinner... get outta surgery, nurse says to start slowly as it’s common to spew from the meds... had 2 sips of chicken soup and that was all I could manage lol... I ate breaky though. Worst part of it...like 40 hrs of starving and you wake up with a pot belly from the swelling ??

Oh my gosh, were you ravenous by the time you went into surgery? Or do the nerves keep you from having much of an appetite? If they don’t, I would be struggling by then! I’d need a second surgery by then, to reattach the arm I would’ve chewed off!

KLJ reacted to Tori14 in BA in Gold Coast/Brisbane !! Help me decide
Well I am a bit more of a complex case (I have a significant asymmetry - my right boob is size A and left is size C). I had a couple of options - unilateral augmentation to match the bigger boob, which I was quoted around $6k (which is a very fair price compared to other surgeons including ones on your list who were still quoting me $10k+ for doing half the work!) or bilateral augmentation with different sized implants to make them both bigger but even them out in the process (luckily I don't need a lift for the bigger one) which I was quoted $11k (but will be $10k after my Medicare rebate for asymmetry). So this may not be reflective of what you would get quoted if you are a more straight forward case - I think I've heard other girls paying more around the $9-10k mark but unsure. For me I would rather save a bit longer and pay a bit more to get exactly what I want with a surgeon who has an excellent reputation who I feel confident with I agree with @JD*'s saying, if price is an issue then better to wait a bit longer to save a bit more to make sure you get the best outcome. I would definitely recommend having a consultation with him to find out more, he has Instagram too and a Facebook group (the dr Phil society) his work looks great!

I found by 9 months post op my boobs finally had some jiggle and were softening. I then noticed another change at 18 months post op. I am now 4 years post op and they are more squishy. But they will never be like natural boobs...…..cos they are fake. They are still firmer than natural boobs...…….but my husband never complains about them.

Hey lovely - for sure I can push mine together easily (I'm now 8 months post-op), could do so from around 4 months I think. They are definitely more squishy too. Still firm, but with definite squish if that makes sense. I know @I HaveBoobs will confirm and can tell you her experience too. So, yours will get to squish level soon, but the underlying firmness is great as it keeps them looking nice and perky and younger

Hi girls, have you looked at rockwear.com.au i have bought sime very nice good supportive sports bras from there and most have a zip front making it easier to get on and off. As for the alcohol usually when you have finished all your medication you should be fine, i chose to wait 2/3 wks post just to be sure. @Mumma-K dosn't it feel good to get back into running, 6 wks of no running drove me batty and i felt so un fit when i did my first run ?

@KLJ I bought a 2 pack of high impact sports bras at Big W and wore both ? there was no boob movement at all but it was a bit hard to breathe ?

Hi girls,
I had to share a few wins with you on a Friday night...
I had my 5 week check up with the surgeon yesterday and was cleared to start running again. He also said I could wear any bra that I wanted, so no more post surgery bra ???
So yesterday, I went for a 5km run which felt great and I also went bra shopping. I was fitted as a 10DD woohooo and bought some beautiful bras ?
And tonight, hubby and I are off on a date night for the first time since my surgery ??
Happy weekend to everyone x

@Chook81 I went in wanting anatomical implants but my PS explained round smooth would look better. I took his advice and I love them,, they look natural as gravity makes rounds appear anatomical anyway. Good luck with your decision

Ah that's great and really reassuring to know! I love his natural look and have tossing back and forth between Dr tavakoli and him! But think miroshnik is the one!

@KLJ
Great to hear all is well and you’re accepting your new additions. Would be a weird feeling for quite awhile but surely it’s worth it having bigger boobs.
At least 2wks off work you mean? I won’t be working for 6wks and after that will do light duties at work (no using the vac) for 4-5wks until school holidays.
@I HaveBoobs The first 6wks should be easy for me, as I don’t do heavy lifting at home, gym fitness in general etc. Since I won’t be working for 6wks and will only be doing school / kindy runs, my recovery should be smooth sailing. I’ll get my son to help me with the housework too.
Thanks for the anatomical reassurance! ?
I can’t believe how close it’s getting for me, I’m becoming a bit nervous now haha

Hi girls answersto all your questions. The first 6 wks po is the most critical to allow the implant to adhere to the chest pocket and for the capsule to form around the implant so no over reaching, lifting anything over 5 kg or running.
I am almost 9 mpo, and at the 2 wpo mark was allowed to do some gentle walking and the stationary bike until about 4 wks then was allowed to incorporate lower body, bodyweight exercises like squats , lunges step ups and we have a seated leg curl in the gym so i did that and dead lifts with 4 kg dumbbells to work the back of my legs and would lay an my baxk and do hip lifts to work my but (wasnt gonna loose that?) at 6 wpo was given the all clear to start lifting with upper body but started off as a beginner again and did very light weights and split my work outs with a push pull combo ( back, shoulders and biceps then the other body parts on another day) and over the next 6 wks slowly increaded my weight, went back to teaching my classes at 2 mpo, it took a good 5 months to feel comfortable with Chatangras for all you yogies as i could feel my implants move and i still do but you get used to it. I avoid chest flys, chin ups and dips as per surgeon's reccomendations and back to all my normal weight by 5 mpo.
As for rotation risk well that is always going to be there but the chance of that happening past the 3 m po mark is minimal and even a round implant can flip if the pocket is to big, it all boils down to surgeon skill and if your surgeon is experienced with anatomicals then dont stress.
Hope i havnt left anything out

Yeah I had same convo with him too. Still higher than with smooth rounds though lol. Cc less likely with textured at lease, and no massage post op which I think is a nice plus.
Thanks heaps for the info re workouts. Good to hear about being able to continue on with exercise without much restriction. How far post op are you and is there a point where you’re sort of ‘outta the woods’ so to speak or is it always a slight risk?
-
KLJ reacted to I HaveBoobs in Roll call - Surgery Dates for 2018!
Hey @JD* and @KLJ if you follow your surgeon's post op rules to a T then the risk of rotation is very minimal, i have Anatomicals and am a PT and teach 8 vairous aerobic classes a week and do my own weight training (chest excluded and only do very light weight in Pump) yoyr surgeon will create a pocket that is precise and to the excat size n shape of your implant (a snug fit) , I've had no issues so far and hope i never do. Also if your surgeon follows the 14 point safty plan and uses a Keller funnel then the risk of bacteria getting inside the pocket is also very minimal.

I got the anatomical dual plane and hubby says they’re the softest fake ones he’s felt. The breast tissue on top makes them soft to feel and I’m only 6 weeks post op. My surgeon chose teardrops saying it was a cosmetic result he was focused on however I kinda wish I went round and smooth due to the higher ALCL risk with textures and the fact I workout a lot and am scared as that they might rotate... I think the less worry would have been worth the rounds.... and dual plane the rounds are squashed up the top half anyway so I don’t think there’d be much of a difference.
having said that they look and feel great but it’s just those 2 points I have at the back of my mind...

No set date yet, but I'm hoping in the next 1-2 years! Just need to lose a little more weight first

KLJ got a reaction from Birdy in Cleavage gap
I just prefer the look of 2 seperate boobs not smooshed together cleavage was all not sure why just always have before kids I was 10D padded bra after kids was a 12c but massively padded as it was more so the wide boob/chest than breast tissue giving me that size. I went with 395cc mod + profile mentor anatomical tall implants and just in cheap target non padded bras am a full 12DD at 5 weeks post op. When are you getting yours done? Feel free to FR and I can see my pics
