  1. I had a neck threading procedure done several months ago by a doctor who professed to be an 'experienced cosmetic surgeon'. In fact his Brisbane business states that he has been doing cosmetic surgery for over three years and has a great reputation with incredible results. Well I should have done my homework, the neck threading turned into a neck nightmare, barbed threads inserted wrongly by a doctor who was clearly under experienced and did not have the qualifications to do the procedure. The neck threading infact did not lift my neck but left it looking like a 'vagina' and my face was pull

  3. I'm a 16 year old girl. I hate my cheekbones. I am a follower of all the all the fashion trends and I love the models with high cheekbones. My aunt did a noon surgical facelift and she looks amazing now. Can I do facelift at this age? Is there any risks associated with it?
  4. Anyone has done Tummy Tuck with Dr Chartchai ? His quoted price was 285,000 bahts @ Samitivej Sukhumivit Hospital but he uses Hospital package if practise at Bumrungrad at the cost of 249,300 bahts. I have so far found no medical agencies that he works with for his service.
  5. Anyone has any idea whether Dr Amorn Poomee engage any medical agency for his surgeries ?

I have some scars on my face due to an accident I was in and has they are healed now, I was to get them removed but the procedure seems quite costly in Australia. Can anyone recommend good, affordable doctors overseas where I can get procedure done safely. My budget is about 12k.

  9. Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has had experience with accessory breast tissue removal (also known as armpit fat). I am not a big girl but due to large breast growth i have developed extra breast tissue which is rather annoying and makes me look larger than i am. Is it an expensive procedure? covered by HBF or medicare? and has it got a long recovery time?. I can not seem to find plastic surgeons in perth who advertise it either. Thank you

  12. Hi all, First time poster. Been doing a bit of reading on here and have made contact and met with 2 surgeons based on some recommendations on here.. so thanks! Would like other people thoughts on my situation I'm facing. 12 months ago I had a rhino-septoplasty to open my airways up as I've sleep apnoea and severe hypersomnia. I figured while I was having a nose op I may as well remove the bump from my nose as well. Turns out my surgeon didn't open up my airways at all and also left me with a big dip where my bump was. His response to my post op concerns were "your nose isn't blocked"
  13. Hi All. Well I finally had my tummy tuck yesterday so will start to write about my experience. Not sure if I make it all in one go becos I get tired & typing on an iPhone is annoying. So here goes: Day 1: Had to be at the hospital by 10. Surgery was scheduled for 11. But my surgeon fell behind. Anyway by about 12.30 I got called in to prep, my awesome surgeon came & had a chat. I was surprisingly calm. He got his texter out & marked where my scar will be. Talked to me about pain relief & asked if I would like a catheter afterwards so I wouldn't have to strain myself using
  14. Hi everyone, I'm considering getting rhinoplasty this year. I've always been super insecure about my nose ever since I was little so its something I'm sure I want to get done... the only problem is which surgeon to go to? I've gone through these threads and I've read great reviews about Andrew Greensmith & Graeme Southwick.. but I want to know for certain before I go for a consult with them. If any of their former patients could share your experience with me then I'd really appreciate it... and if anyone could suggest other surgeons that are renowned for rhinoplasty then that'd also be
  15. Does all the bad media put you off having surgery overseas? I'm booked in for April next year and I have read all the horror stories on here, even saw the today tonight or ACA program (whichever that aired it) but it hasn't put me off, just makes me very cautious. Now Sunrise on Channel 7 are airing their story about cosmetic surgery and idk if it's because I'm counting down or what but this has gotten my attention. Questions are going through my mind now like what does the insurance actually cover, what if something goes wrong, am I doing the right thing? Has anyone else gone thro
