Just putting it out there... imagine the amount of strippers that have boob jobs. I’m sure it’ll be fine. However check with your surgeon as many recommend avoiding exercises which directly target your chest. I’ve never done pole dancing so I’m not sure how much it targets your chest muscles.

If you have a skilled surgeon the scarring under your boob will end up right on the crease. I have to lift my boob to find the scar, and it’s that faint that it’s almost impossible to see.

If you want transaxilary incisions that is going to seriously limit which surgeons you can go through. Most won’t do it regardless of the implant size and shape. If this incision is important to you, it will have to be one of the first enquiries you make before you seriously consider any surgeon. Make sure it is something the surgeon does regularly, as if it isn’t, you may end up with suboptimal results.

That is absolutely horrid that he has said that to so many women but gone back on his word. At least maybe thanks to you ladies, others will be informed before choosing to go with him. I think all surgeons should have their revision policy written out. Especially when it is related to surgical error. I understand that it is hard to prove, but for example most often symmastia is due to surgical error.

Depending on how close your surgery is I would speak to your surgeon before taking anything. Some surgeons advise you to stop taking all vitamins up to two weeks before surgery. That being said, every surgeon has a different opinion on the topic ? vitamin C will most likely be fine. However, I’ve never found it to be much help with sickness once it has already hit.

Not all surgeons advise to do this. Mine didn’t. I still took my BC. Check with your surgeon ? you could stop now for piece of mind. 13 days is a while to get it out of your system.

As @sabP mentioned, the majority of surgeons recommend to avoid any exercises that isolate chest muscles. I was told not to do push ups. Hope @I HaveBoobscan shed some more light and I would also be asking your surgeon ?
congrats on losing the 4kgs and your mummy tummy though!

I could shower on day 2. I washed my hair that day. I was allowed to raise my arms and I had no pain at all. Follow the advice of your own surgeon as they all differ ?

Did you have much breast tissue or a visible sternum before your BA? Also, as previously asked ^^ have you been doing chest exercises? on top of this I was advised before my surgery to be my goal weight and ideally not lose more than 1-2 kilos as it can impact results.

Thanks for replying. Maybe I have been doing the wrong exercises and pushed them out a bit. What exercises should I be avoiding? I wasn't told to avoid anything. I'm not really sure which exercises are isolated pec exercises. I have been following a program that has a heap of different exercises. My goal was to get a flat tummy, but the program has lots of battle rope/ push-ups/ arm weights as well.
I am wearing a bra though I am bending over because that shows up the bony look the most so the bra is a bit loose when i lean over. I have round motiva ergo implants under the muscle. I can push my breasts together with a push up bra. Prior to surgery I definitely never had a bony sternum.
I'll most likely book in a consult with my surgeon, I'm just hoping for a little reassurance that I can get rid of it
I had a small amount of breast tissue, deflated b/c cups after breastfeeding and never had a visible sternum before.
And yes I have been doing chest exercises, I had thought I was able to do any exercise. Which ones should I be avoiding? push-ups, chin ups?
I thought I was my ideal weight at surgery, but in trying to loose my mummy tummy I've lost 4kg.

    Thanks for your reply

Is it worth the risk? No one is going to see you anyway. They are rules for a reason. Maybe look into getting henna brows done or something similar close to your surgery date.

Part of the problem may be that they are still so new. Are you trying on wired or wireless bras? I wasn’t able to wear wireless bras comfortably until about 8-10 weeks. And I didn’t wear wired bras until 3-4 months post op because it was just too uncomfortable and nothing fit properly because they were still so firm. Panache is a great brand but difficult to find ?

So sorry to hear ? it isn’t very common at all, but it definitely is one of the risks of breast implants. It’s a complication that can really pop up at any time. What options did your surgeon give you?

An areola reduction and implants without being able to show you results from a similar patient is a massive warning sign. You really need to see someone who is very experienced in this area. Are the other two surgeons you mentioned experienced? I’ve never heard of them.

How disappointing that Miroshnik’s staff are so poor. Unfortunately I don’t think that would even affect his reputation or the amount of surgeries he performs.
But it sounds like you’ve found the surgeon for you ? which is good news. Your heart is so strongly towards him, it is evident from your first post. So it is good you’re sticking with your heart.
