CC size question

Up to what CC size is considered a small implant?

I’ve always assumed over 400cc is considered large implants, so I’m curious to know the answer to my question. ?

400cc would be considered a pretty large implant. It's not small. But it's very common for women to have implants that size (400-600) these days and they do NOT look like porn stars like you might imagine. It's not an unusual size by any means but if you read a lot of the answers to questions on real self, most of the surgeons would call that a large implant in terms of healing, stretch on the skin and muscles, etc. It's certainly not a conservative size like say, 200cc. Silicone gives a much more natural look though so they don't look like the saline implants did back in the day with that half grapefruit stuck-on look. But it's relative to body-size, what you're starting with. It can look very conservative on one person and very full on another.

I would consider anything under 450 to be a small implant IMO.

To me anything over 400 cc would be considered a big implant and anything around the 250 to 385 medium and anything under 200cc small. But it all depends on your desired out come and your existing breast tissue.

I agree with @Wanting boobs over 400cc is considered big by most standards, but it does depend on your overall anatomy, size and existing breast tissue.. However, there are ladies on here with much bigger implants over 700cc and I guess what I am saying is that it is all relative as to how you see breast size. I have 375 cc and I feel they are "medium" and work perfectly for my body and I didn't and don't want them any bigger (or smaller). But I totally support any woman who wants the biggest she can get or the ladies who want a more conservative size in the 200 cc range.

You may personally think it LOOKS large on you, but in the real world this is NOT a large implant.

My opinion:

up to 300cc > tiny.

300-500cc > small.

500-750cc > medium.

750-1010 > large.

1010+ > XL.

Haha that's the sizing example I was after! Would you say there's a big difference between 350cc MPP & 430cc HP? I'm going under the muscle.

it really depends on the person or more importantly their frame. On a 6 ft patient with a broad chest, a 400cc implant would be small on her, likewise, a 250cc implant on a 5ft patient with a narrow chest may end up giving her quite large breasts

I'm 5ft1 with a tall narrow chest, BWD 12cm, 52kgs and I was recommended 350cc MPP. He said the next size up in 430cc HP might be too big. I have tried on the MPP & HP but they don't appear to look much different besides the shape and approx a cm projection with HP. I guess it's hard to determine when you try on sizers because the outcome would be different once implanted.

Honestly if you’re tossing between the two, go the larger.

There’s hardly any difference between the two, so for peace of mind wouldn’t you rather know you did pick the bigger one in the end.

The last thing you want to do is come out of surgery disappointed!

Yes, every implant will look different on every body no matter what the size - that doesn’t take away the fact that it isn’t a large implant. So whilst some may think it looks large on their body, it’s not going to look large from an outsiders perspective.

No one is going to think “JESUS LOOK AT THOSE THEY ARE BIGGER THAN HER HEAD”. Just not going to happen.

If anyone says a 500cc or under implant is difficult to hide they’re lying.

Majority of this forum has smaller implants, and that’s all well and good. But it’s giving you a misinformed view of the bigger picture here.

To be fair, im 175cms tall 55kgs and had 410cc implants and they werent the easiest things to hide.

Teardrops, the difference in size is almost one cup size given that you need around 100cc difference to have a noticeable difference in size.

If you came out of surgery and they were too big or too small, which would you prefer, that might help you make your decision

I have 755cc implants and my boobs are not 'huge' by any means. No one I worked with even noticed I had an augmentation except for those I told beforehand!

I'm 5'3 and I'm not a super tiny girl in weight, but the 755s have evened out my chest to hip ratio, that's it. So I definitely dont think that 400ccs are large implants!

Being small chested all my life, I would rather be too big than not much different in size when I wear a padded bra ?

Hopefully after my next consult, I can settle on what size and be stress free until surgery!

I think you’ll see a common trend here, me (800cc), RJD (755cc) and misstons (920cc) all have a relaxed view to implant sizes and the smaller sizes are all petrified of anything over 500cc. ??

If you're afraid of being too small and would rather wake up too big, absolutely go bigger! I think that's a good way to look at it. I was totally the opposite. I'm just having my own crisis haha, and I'd rather you hear from both sides of the coin and make up your own mind as to what you think you'd prefer. Not everyone wishes they were bigger. I hope you get the look you want

Some are larger ladies and need larger sizes just to notice them

I was talking to a young girl who just got around 300 and they were definately noticable and looked alot bigger than mine

I have tried on sizers at my last consult hence why I’m torn ? I’ll be going back in again in June to retry the sizers and make up my mind.

At first I was happy with the 350cc as I went in expecting around 300cc but since I’m going under the muscle and will lose a bit of volume, I’m having second thoughts. Probably just boob greed, I don’t know ?

The cc is just one aspect of what makes boobs look big or small. Mine are 390cc but I literally had pancakes to start with sommy implants are literally my whole boob, and I am a D in bras but realistically look like a C in my opinion. I’m a size 8 in tops and still look smallish I think. But of course if I started as a B for example then I’d think the 390s would look massive, and if someone was much taller than me and broader then perhaps the 390 would be too small. So lots of factors to consider

I'm a size 8 in tops too, have A cup size breasts but have to wear a 10B bra because the underwire feels more comfortable although my breasts won't fill the cups! Can't wait for my next consult to knuckle down on the size officially and be stress free until surgery

Don’t be too focused on the cc number...I focused closely at the actual dimensions of the implants too ie width and projection etc because I have a larger bwd and therefore the bigger implant meant wider, but to be honest I can’t imagine having gone smaller. I just had loose skin, virtually no breast tissue st all. If I was say a full A, I would have gone down to the 320s. I felt I’d be more disappointed if I finally did the surgery and went too small.
