MaisieF
Definitely bloat! Although from around the 4-6 week mark, if you still feel blah, it might be a bit extra weight. That happened to me but it's all gone now plus some at 13 weeks post op. ? Cedar3, Sas31 and Blossom

Jugs
I had no bloating at all. Maybe because I was throwing up for the first 24 hours, or maybe I'm not as thin as you ladies and haven't noticed the bloat?

Anja29
Don't worry I have bloated for more than a week but mainly bcuz of the antibiotic as I always had that problem everytime I got prescribe antibiotic for anything. I got reaction from the endone n codeine too ( throw up n nauseas ) so I didn't drink them after the ops.I found chamomile tea helping much also rubbed some eculyptus oil on my tummy area ( old grandma recipe ) to make it warm is helping with my bloating..i hope you doing well

Msmelbournian
So glad I saw this thread!! Just had my surgery yesterday morning and was completed out of it all day from the anaesthetics. Didn't get discharged until late in the evening and my surgery was at 8am - had been drinking heaps of water because I was so thirsty but ended up throwing it all up hours later :/ feeling majorly bloated today today and still feelings of nausea...must be the remnants of anaesthetics and the painkillers hope this feeling passes soon hate feeling so incapacitated!!! elle_cee
I originally read this thread before I had my surgery and was convinced I was going to bloat, but I've not had any. I actually weigh 1kg less now than I did on the morning of my surgery even with the implants. I've been drinking heaps and heaps of water and peppermint tea so I think that has helped. I didn't throw up at all with the anaesthetic or painkillers either.
Thai coconuts
3 days post op and weighing 4kg heavier. So bloated and feeling fat! Any special remedies? I've never bloated like this before, I legit look pregnant ?
Chemille
hi ladies. i am curious, is the bloating from those surgeons who don't use drains? mine is next month on the GC and i believe my PS uses drains (consult next wk so i will find out more), but i read on rejuvenation clinic website Dr Harwood doesn't use drains and it passes naturally and can cause bloating? would love to know, thanks
rachael1981
@Chemille I had drains and never was bloated in hospital (I stayed overnight) but started getting extremely bloated day 3-6 I figured it was from the antibiotics cos I wasn't on pain killers and they were also making me feel very nauseous... As soon as I finished them I was fine... Thai coconuts and Chemille
Joadster
Ohhhhhhh I wish I could say my weight gain was all bloatiness lol!!! I'm 5 days post op! Had no nausea whatsoever thank goodness. But staying in an amazing hotel and wandering the interesting streets of Sydney, we did nothing but sight see and eat, eat, eat!! Hahaha... Got gone to find I have gained 3 or 4 kg!! Eek lol. Prior to surgery I ate so clean. Gluten, Dairy and Sugar free. Get to Sydney and ate Italian, Indian, Brazillian, Guylian Chicolate, Croissants, OMG!!! Food Heaven lol. I have paid for this immensely by using useless laxatives. Big Lesson. Oh well, all changeable. Back on track starting from NOW! lol. I must admit part of this weight is definitely new boobies and fluid from swelling, but mostly from my non existent healthy eating plan <
