I have narrowed down my search for a rhinoplasty ENT surgeon to Dr George Marcells and Dr Shahram Shahidi. Does anyone have any information on who will be best? Marcells seems to post less before and after photos, perhaps because he has a solid client base who pay good money and this he respects their privacy. Shahidi on the other hand seems to post lots of before and afters (perhaps offers patient discounts?), which I don’t see as a bad thing but it does make me wonder. I like his work however, but surgeons naturally only post their successes. I did see some people saying to qu

I've been contemplating having a BA for a few years now, especially after losing weight and seeing my breasts slightly sag. I don't think I need a full lift since I had small boobs to begin with, I only want to move my nipples upwards and a bit over, and then adding implants to round out the shape and give me fullness. Has anyone else had a procedure like this where it's just a nipple lift and implants, not a full lift, and in Australia. I live in Melbourne but wouldn't mind traveling too much if it means the best results and prices that aren't outrageous.

Hi y'all! I'm a 23 year old female from a south-east Asian background. I had my first double eyelid surgery operation when I was 17 by Dr Andrew Kim in Melbourne, Australia. My initial operation and the subsequent revision surgeries that he preformed were totally botched and I've been left with asymmetry and a deformed fold on my left eye (please refer to the attached photo). After years of hating my appearance, regretting my decision to ever have the surgery, and completely losing all trust in surgeons, I have finally found the courage to look into possibly undergoing revision surgery.

Hi everyone! I’m looking to have a hair line reduction and the only place I have found in Perth is Dr Martinick but I was wanting opinions about surgeons all over Australia and any advice if you have had one! Thanks

Whilst this doctor advertises rhinoplasties, he is an ENT. He introduced me to one of his post op clients during my consultation to prove that enlarging a nose instead of refining it creates a better outcome. Well unfortunately it proved the opposite and I would definitely keep your $240 consultation fee and save your money for actual plastic surgeons unless you intend to thicken up and enlarge your nose, not to mention also be ridiculed by the rude reception staff, who freely interject their opinions on what should be done. Easily the strangest consultation I have ever had. I will be consulti

I am currently researching Rhinoplasty surgeons and I'd like to find the best in Australia. Most seem to have mostly good reviews and then a few bad ones. I'd like to go to someone who can give me a good result both aesthetically as well as functional. Im considering Dr Shahidi. Has anyone had surgery with Dr Shahidi and can tell me about their results with him?

Hello, I see alot of people asking about Dr William Mooney both here and abroad. I have booked in my surgery with Dr Mooney and the procedure will take place in two weeks. I plan on updating this thread with my experiences and results in an effort to help other people make a more informed decision. Bit of background; I am a male who lives in Sydney. I initially saw Dr William Mooney in 2014 (two years ago!) at his Bondi clinic. Bit of a mission to find as the Westfield is confusing but once inside greeted by friendly staff and a very nice view of the city. Dr Mooney is a l

Hi everyone! First post here... Just a bit of background on me, I am so indecisive when I have options and even after hours of research on rhinoplasty I can't come to a conclusion on whether to travel Thailand or stay locally for the surgery. I guess what I am really weighing up is cost for service. There are obviously shocking surgeons in any country, except in Australia they seem to be shocking and still expensive! Has anyone here had experience with getting rhinoplasty in Thailand or even both Thailand and Australia? How much was the price difference really? If you h

Hi all hoping you can help with some advise! I am struggling to reach a decision on whether to get rhino surgery with dr montein in Bangkok (world medical centre) with cosmeditour, or, stay in Sydney and have rhino with dr Jeremy hunt who seems to be well accredited. Costs associated are actually not horrendously different, CosMediTour's all up including flights will be around $10k, whilst Sydney is looking closer to $16k. My main concern is post op care and follow ups which it doesn't seem you can get if I go through cosmeditour. has anybody done either and can help with

Hi all! I'm currently after a filler/Botox injector. I want Botox around my eyes, and fillers for my cheek and lips. I'm after a very, very natural result. I want the best, don't care about cost, and want a Dr with credentials, i.e, facial plastic surgeon, cosmetic dermatologist, etc. (NO laser clinics/nurses) Dr Van Park has a good reputation, but there is a 6 month wait and I would hate to wait that long only to discover it's just hype. Please share your experiences, advice, and opinions. Thank you!

Here is a question for all those post-op girls- do you wish that you had gone bigger or smaller? I'm curious to see how common it is to wish that we had gone that one size bigger because it seems to be the most common complaint, but wanted to put it to a poll.

I am looking to go for a revision and am looking for some Melbourne surgeons and was wondering if everyone who has had surgery in Melbourne would like to write the price they paid (if you have a break down that would be great as i dont have to pay for any hospital fees or implants they're covered by health insurance just need to pay surgeons fee and anesthetist). These are the surgeons i am looking at: Mark Ashton Hamish Farrow (have done a search and both come highly recommended) Craig Rubenstein (refuses to see girls who have had previous surgery in Thailand) Any other recomendation

Hi all I am looking at getting these procedures done in Phuket early July. I have not researched Australian prices as I am fairly sure they are heaps more expensive than Phuket. I have researched the hospital and surgeons in Phuket and they all seem good however it would be easier and more comfortable to have it done in my my town being Canberra. Does anyone know how much these procedures cost on average in OZ both with and without a health fund. I don't want to wait 12mths with my fund even though I have been with them for 13 yrs I have to change the plan I am on which is another reason to

I was just about ready to pack my bag and head off to Thailand for BA but after many hours of research I just can't shake my nervousness about the lack of post op care. So I now find myself with a fairly low budget of approx $10,000 to get my new boobies here in oz. I can travel but I would really prefer to stay in melbourne if anyone on this site can recommend a surgeon. I would be really gateful for any feedback.

Hi ladies, I am on my way to Thailand for a consult and hopefully a BA!! I couldn't be more excited and all the forums I have read plus doing my own research for the past 6 years has prepared me enough to go ahead. BUT before I commit 100% to a BA in Bangkok, I was wondering whether anyone would recommend getting a BA done in Australia (Bris\Syd) Reading some posts on costs for BA's in Australia are making me wonder whether to wait and have surgery in my own backyard --- the cost for BA in Thailand is roughly $1000-$1800 in difference to a BA in Aus. I have always thought that I

Hello all, i'm trying to gather as much information and have as many consults with the right people as possible! I am trying to estimate how much money i'll need saved (I do not have private health insurance) to start saving and getting on track! I realise this is a very serious financial commitment and do not want to skimp, however I would like a ballpark range to help inform me. If anyone could either post or PM privately this to me it would make me a very happy & well informed girl! Surgeon: Time taken in surgery: Surgeon's fee: Anesthetist fee: Hospital location/fee: and
